- "Highly recommend this property. Clean rooms friends staff gorgeous property on beach in great location" - "The property, rooms and facilities are all excellent and very good value. If you don't go for the all inclusive food package then any other decent restaurants are approx 15 - 30 minutes walk away. Only minor criticism of our room was that it was very dark and you needn't to have lights on the whole time" - "As many other have said the hotel is well appointed, maintained and has lovely gardens and a beautiful sandy beach. All told it is a very relaxing and enjoyable place. Be aware that the sea is quite quite choppy with large waves and so is not really suitable for beginners or young children without strict supervision. We went in early April so perhaps it's calmer at other times of the year. Also be aware that the restaurants are seriously over priced and after a week you will have exhausted the menu and be wanting a change. If you don't have a car then there are not many alternatives. Those that we did find were also fairly expensive. Instead you might wish to get some of your food from the super market (hotel has a shuttle bus twice a week although we did not use it). Alternatively if you exit the hotel and walk 100 yards to your right, you will find a small convenience store that also makes fresh sandwiches at reasonable prices. There is also a van that arrives at midday and parks opposite the hotel that sells hot Bajun food. Their meal deal is about US $10. Anyway, a nice hotel,"

Every staff is friendly and make sure all guest is well taken care off. I wish that when it comes to food, they are more sensitive to people that are lactose and have more options to those who are. Also, when it comes to the cups and plates guest shouldn't be served food with crack plates and crack cups. - "Mango Bay has the most beautiful beach on the west coast. There’s nice snorkeling in the area such that many catamaran tours stop off the coast there. The service by the staff is amazing as they will get to know you personally and remember your preferences. The rooms are a large size for two people (we were three and still comfortable). The hotel is in Holetown and just outside the gate are the local restaurants and bars which are lively on weekends. The food is very good. Only area of improvement I can think of is that the bathrooms could be renovated to be more modern. "

It didn't matter who was at the front, it was the same all of the time. The resaurant was delicious; it is a little on the expensive side, but the staff was great about recommending other options. It is a 5-10 minute walk into town where there are fruit stands, a grocery story and plenty of places to eat especially if you like fish. It was our first trip to Barbados and will most definitely not be our last. This was a random selection for us and we were not at all disappointed."

The space
Melbourne Inn provides you with affordable accommodation and quality service all year round. Great for business trips, girlfriend getaways and vacation . Our pool area offers a serine and relaxed feel as you lounge pool side under our amazing chilled cabanas.

All standard individual rooms are equipped with mini fridge, cable TV, A/C, bathroom, free internet and a balcony. Each Standard room is outfitted with either a King bed or 2 double beds. The rate accommodates for 1-2 persons in either room type.

Additional 3rd or 4th persons in the double rooms (2 beds) will incur an additional charge of $40 USD per night, per person.

Group bookings are also available, kindly contact us for availability, rates and room assignment.

ROOM UPGRADE
Enquire about requesting a room upgrade to a kitchenette room at small additional per night fee.
Studio (kitchenette) rooms are also outfitted with either a King bed or 2 double beds. (Not all kitchenette rooms have patios)

DAMAGE DEPOSIT
A fee of $75 USD is required at check in. This fee is pre-authorized via credit card and is cancelled upon check out once no charges to room, damage property, lost keys etc.

Guest access
Melbourne Inn has a Pool deck with Cabanas to relaxing in the shade. A Sun deck to relax in the sun. A terrace / lounge area which can be used as an area either for business meetings, group, family and friends get together, birthday gatherings, wedding, graduation or receptions. Bookings are needed for any special events in the lounge area.

Atlantis Historic Inn dates back to the mid 1800's. Completely refurbished in 2009, now offers comfortable accommodation with all the amenities we expect in this day and age. Tent Bay is a very sleepy fishing village, only 10 minutes walk along the seafront to the main coastal village of Bathsheba. We have a live in caretaker who will be available to answer and questions you may have pretty much at all times.

Conveniently located on the popular south coast of Barbados near Shopping, Beaches and Nightly Entertainment; It is 10 minutes from the airport and 20 Minutes from the Capital Bridgetown. Approximately 1 mile to the east you can find Oistins, Home of the Oistins Fish Festival and traveling the same distance westward you will find St. Lawrence Gap, popular for its restaurants and night life.
