- "Highly recommend this property. Clean rooms friends staff gorgeous property on beach in great location" - "The property, rooms and facilities are all excellent and very good value. If you don't go for the all inclusive food package then any other decent restaurants are approx 15 - 30 minutes walk away. Only minor criticism of our room was that it was very dark and you needn't to have lights on the whole time" - "As many other have said the hotel is well appointed, maintained and has lovely gardens and a beautiful sandy beach. All told it is a very relaxing and enjoyable place. Be aware that the sea is quite quite choppy with large waves and so is not really suitable for beginners or young children without strict supervision. We went in early April so perhaps it's calmer at other times of the year. Also be aware that the restaurants are seriously over priced and after a week you will have exhausted the menu and be wanting a change. If you don't have a car then there are not many alternatives. Those that we did find were also fairly expensive. Instead you might wish to get some of your food from the super market (hotel has a shuttle bus twice a week although we did not use it). Alternatively if you exit the hotel and walk 100 yards to your right, you will find a small convenience store that also makes fresh sandwiches at reasonable prices. There is also a van that arrives at midday and parks opposite the hotel that sells hot Bajun food. Their meal deal is about US $10. Anyway, a nice hotel,"

Every staff is friendly and make sure all guest is well taken care off. I wish that when it comes to food, they are more sensitive to people that are lactose and have more options to those who are. Also, when it comes to the cups and plates guest shouldn't be served food with crack plates and crack cups. - "Mango Bay has the most beautiful beach on the west coast. There’s nice snorkeling in the area such that many catamaran tours stop off the coast there. The service by the staff is amazing as they will get to know you personally and remember your preferences. The rooms are a large size for two people (we were three and still comfortable). The hotel is in Holetown and just outside the gate are the local restaurants and bars which are lively on weekends. The food is very good. Only area of improvement I can think of is that the bathrooms could be renovated to be more modern. "

We had a room with a beach view right near the garden pool where only 3 rooms actually face. It was peaceful and perfect. The room was spacious and super comfortable but I could see us taking any room and being fine as there are only 10 rooms in the building. The maximum amount of people at the pool was 3 couples. The proximity to Miami Beach was incredible and it was almost like having your semi - private white sand beach to yourself. If you wanted, they would bring chairs, but we never used this service as we were way to random. There are also shuttles that go three times a week to various beaches which we took advantage of one day. The driver was amazing. The staff is outstanding. Every recommendation, every conversation made the trip memorable and the two of us enjoyed the friendly banter as well as knowledgeable recommendations. It didn't matter who was at the front, it was the same all of the time. The resaurant was delicious; it is a little on the expensive side, but the staff was great about recommending other options. It is a 5-10 minute walk into town where there are fruit stands, a grocery story and plenty of places to eat especially if you like fish. It was our first trip to Barbados and will most definitely not be our last. This was a random selection for us and we were not at all disappointed."
