- "The staff was very nice and helpful. If you opt for breakfast you get vouchers for the cafe next door. Good cafe breakfasts, mostly silog options but they do offer American options. They also serve good coffee. The area is tucked away down a side street from the main road Osmeña and everything you might need is in walking distance. Good value and good stay overall. My only drawback is there were carpenter ants when we checked in but the staff took care of that right away. Also, we had to ask for toilet paper a couple times and at night the noise travels to the room, we stayed during Sinulog festival so it did get noisy in the evenings."

This is a poor area in a relatively poor city if you are from the west so you will see a lot of things you are not used to outside of the hostile. - "It was unique experience. It like an outdoor setup. And I like it" - "It is a high quality stay for the price! Everyone is friendly and helpful there. They make you feel right at home. There is free wifi (unlimited) which is hard to find in the Philippines. All the basics and then some. For a few extra bucks I recommend a higher end room. Even though it's a "hostel" my room was private with a bathroom and aircon (AC). A few places could use some caulking or a paint job, but for the price it's a steal. The only other downside is the neighborhood. It's not dangerous, but a little clustered and dirty (and hard to find the first time). Not at all a deal breaker for me. I will definitely stay there the next time I am in Cebu!"

- "Better than expected. Clean comfortable and great value and near our places of interest." - "The hotel itself was okay. Good quality for low price. However on the hotels app they said the check in was 2pm to anytime. When I got there a little after midnight the place was locked down and not even a guard to let me in. I had to get a room elsewhere for the night. I did use my second already paid for night. No refund, no offer of a free or even discounted night in the future. Just sorry tough luck. They were just reopening so there was no food service either."
