- "Brand new place that has beautiful decorations and modern amenities. Was still partially under construction so a bit noisy in the day and a little farther from the beach than other places, but it was an easy 15 min walk or quick tricycle ride. Accommodations price is affordable just expect the least amount of comfort in your hostel room. - "The owners was really nice! They helped us book the chocolate hills and everything. We just stayed two nights. The area was full of hostels and hotels, not that much restaurants, you had to go up to the Main Street. We didn’t go to the beach while we stayed here so not sure how far it was. We lived in a bungalow, the fan was good and you could move it and stop it so it just went to one place. The shower was a little bit too short for my friend. Something that was bad was that they’re building new houses so they started at 7 with hammering and cutting wood. Really noisy. There was also a rooster that sounded almost the entire night. The internet was okey, best in the reception area. It’s okey when you’re backpacking. "

- "I booked this place at the last minute because my family arrived earlier than their original flight schedule. It was advertised “with free breakfast” on Expedia. Upon checking in, the concierge of the property told them based on their rules, breakfast is included depending on how much did you pay, and what we paid for doesn’t have it. I report it to Expedia and the agent confirmed complimentary breakfast is included. We did not insist on the free breakfast anymore. I just thought that they should have handled it with more consideration instead of blatantly pointing out the price. They should provide a welcoming and positive guest experience. - "Price is very reasonable!" - "Accessibility to the beach" - "I booked a Standard Double Room for one night. The room was quite compact with the bed and wardrobe taking up most of the space. There was a kettle, 2 cups, 2 coffee sachets. The mattress was okay and the bed was generally firm. The bed also had 3 pillows and a thin sheet. The AC worked well and had no trouble cooling the room. With the AC temp turned up to 24c, the thin sheet was fine for me. The bathroom was basic, but had everything needed. The shower was open, but had a curtain and guard to prevent splashes onto the floor. The toilet had a bidet and toilet tissue. The hotel also provided bathroom kit and two towels. Location wise, the hotel is a few minutes walk to the beach and the nightlife area of Alona Beach. It's quieter than being on the beachfront, which is preferable to the noise. The road the hotel is on is in need of maintenance though. The only slight complaints were the thin curtains (okay because I had sleep mask) and, there wasn't a desk and chair to work one (not a big deal for one day) Overall I had a good stay and there's very little to complain about for the price. The staff were friendly and helpful, and although I only stayed one night, I would happily stay longer. "

My place is in a nice village of Panglao near the plaza and is walking distance to the market and the 7-11 Store. A fitness gym is located above 7-11 Store. La Familia Restaurant and local cafeterias are nearby. Sorry, I do not serve breakfast or meals. I have Wi-Fi in the rooms and hot & cold water shower. My place is 4.8 km (10 minutes by tricycle) to Alona Beach and 3 km (5 minutes) to Moadto Strip Mall. I have 4 studio rooms in all. This room is located on the ground floor.

The space
Casa Alegre is located 10 minutes away from Alona Beach in the town center of Panglao. It is only a two minute-walk to the little pier that has a boats going to Balicasag and Virgin Islands where you can enjoy the nice white sand beaches. It is 5 minutes away by tricycle to Moadto Strip Mall in Doljo Beach. There is 7-11 Store where you can get personal stuff that you might need. A fitness gym is just above the 7-11 Store. All rooms have air-conditioning system, hot water shower, a bidet, and a small kitchen located at the balcony as well as WIfi (fibre-optic by Globe) inside the rooms. There is a television set (TV) with cable connection. I have four rooms in all.

A key is provided for your bedroom and another key to the small gate. In any case you lose the keys a charge of 700 PHP will be collected.

Other things to note
Please note the following, to keep my rates low, please adjust your expectations.

1. We do not provide daily cleaning.
2. We don't provide drinking water. You can purchase water and other necessities in the 7-11 Store nearby or in Three-Sixty Pharmacy in front of the plaza.
3. Only two rolls of toilet tissue provided for convenience. You may purchase more in Three -Sixty Pharmacy or 7-11 Store.
4. Only two towels are provided. If you stay longer than 7 days, we can give you clean towels and bedsheets to replace during your stay. Please remind us if we forget. For longer stays we can replace bedsheets and towels every week.
5. When the trash bins are full please put them on the wooden balcony rail so we can see that they are ready to be emptied. And we will remove them. For privacy reasons, we do not go to your balcony and collect trash unless we know you need us to.
6. You may park your rented motorbikes inside the courtyard at night.
7. Please lock the gate at night for extra security.

The plaza is a great place for running, jogging or playing a game of badminton. There is also a tennis court. If you are into running or jogging, you can head to Doljo Beach all the way to the end of the peninsula and maybe catch the sunset there. Moadto Strip Mall in Doljo has lots of great restaurants and bars to view the sunset.
