- "We stayed for 4-nights. Although there were two weddings during our stay, it wasn’t as noisy as we thought it would be and their operations for staying guests did not stop. Their best assets at the resort are their food and their staff! If I can make one suggestion, most toilets I used at the resort had toilet seats that were smaller than the actual toilet. There is access to the narrow beach, however Alona beach is more about bars, so we enjoyed more the pool areas of the resort with ocean view. Food was very delicious, and the food decoration were amazing. The opportunity to find restaurants in Doljo is poor. But it is easy to grab a TukTuk/tricykle whenever you want to go somewhere else like Alona Beach. Had one massage at the hotel, can highly recommend. Super!! - "This property has a certain charm, is very atmospheric with pretty gardens, but seems passed its prime. The room we were given smelled strongly of mold, the private pool was too gross to swim in, the small beach was not inviting and everything generally felt decrepit, dirty and in poor condition. After complaining and showing staff our issues with the room, we were eventually moved to another one which was much better. Our experience wasn't great but some may like it and staff was responsive. Seemed very over priced despite private pool."
