Their best assets at the resort are their food and their staff! If I can make one suggestion, most toilets I used at the resort had toilet seats that were smaller than the actual toilet. There is access to the narrow beach, however Alona beach is more about bars, so we enjoyed more the pool areas of the resort with ocean view. The room we were given smelled strongly of mold, the private pool was too gross to swim in, the small beach was not inviting and everything generally felt decrepit, dirty and in poor condition. - "Excellent staff!!!" - "Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Location was perfect as it was right on the beach in the middle of lots of Bars and Restaurants. You will be spoiled for choice. There was a great deal of activities to do on the beach. And i liked that this was all within walking distance. Only two things i would criticise. First being that i didn’t understand the room cleaning policy during my stay. So my room wasn’t cleaned and towels wasn’t changed in the 5 days i stayed. (however, i did have 2 shower towels for a one person stay) and the second was that they have a big karaoke machine next to the restaurant and pool area. I found this to be randomly switched on during the afternoon and was extremely loud. Something to bear in mind if you want to relax by the pool or in the bar. I could hear this from inside my room. Over all staff was really friendly and accommodating and the hotel was a pleasant place to be."
