- "The phone number does not work or they never answered, when I got there the gate was closed, I called the phone number several times and no one answered, a neighbor girl was kind enough to call Don Mario who is the manager or owner, but he was more interested in listening to his music then to open the gate for us, we were there waiting in the rain for about 1/2hour, Trying to get his attention. Until we had no other option but to return to San Juan Del Sur and rent another hotel room at the last minute. We're still waiting to see if maybe we can get our money back. Also the road is a dirt road that takes about 20 minutes to drive the 3km to the hotel."

The first didn’t have a/c but we were provided 3 fans which was fine. The second was a very large room with a/c overlooking the front courtyard. Oddly the window was not overly tinted so we had to have the drapes pulled the whole time. Breakfast service was good and the one meal we had in the evening was great. The back courtyard led directly to the beach which was a great bonus. The colour of the pool water was a little off putting and the shower lacked water pressure. I believe they are barely 6” deep. You literally have to climb them sideways to prevent a catastrophic fall. I highly recommend this hostel. Exceptionally centralized to everything in Managua. Beautifully appointed and renovated. Clean and safe. I will definitely stay here again. By the way, there’s a church a block away. Their bell ringer is kind of a maniac. Hotel Julieta is a boutique a wonderful selections for breakfast - but not inclusive to price of room. Rest from the rigors of traveling; use our neat common area front patio where you can have foods delivered with no delivery cost or do your Chakra yoga and meditations at 6 AM & 4 PM. We have seven rooms and host a maximum of eleven guests. We elected to not have bunk rooms shared by strangers - so, for your comfort and security, we have all private sleeping rooms with ample shared banos and showers. It is not fancy and has no fancy frills - but it is clean, comfortable and secure with outstanding service and assistance for travelers. We like to say, we are a couple notches above camping out but primitive luxury.

Our guesthouse is a beautiful, fully remodeled colonial home that is just beginning to walk.We have a decoration suitable to the name of our guesthouse with spacious rooms with new orthopedic mattresses, bathrooms, bedside tables, closets in private rooms, closets and lockers in shared rooms.We also have a beautiful solarium, laundry service and soon we will include breakfast in our rate and restaurant at the service of our guests.
