- "The phone number does not work or they never answered, when I got there the gate was closed, I called the phone number several times and no one answered, a neighbor girl was kind enough to call Don Mario who is the manager or owner, but he was more interested in listening to his music then to open the gate for us, we were there waiting in the rain for about 1/2hour, Trying to get his attention. Until we had no other option but to return to San Juan Del Sur and rent another hotel room at the last minute. We're still waiting to see if maybe we can get our money back. Also the road is a dirt road that takes about 20 minutes to drive the 3km to the hotel."

- "Great people, staff, and activities " - "We stayed at The Space for 12 nights in February 2025. The staff were super friendly and easy to chat with (and they humoured us with practicing our Spanish!). We had a private room which was quite nice. It was very hot, the fans in the room helped, but I would likely only reserve an air conditioned room next time. We are already planning on going back! We had rented a truck, so while The Space isn’t on a beach, it is quite close to some of the nicest beaches in the area. We had a great stay. Food was excellent! "
