Casa La Aventura is a new, rustic, eco-friendly guesthouse in Popoyo, close to one of Nicaragua's most famous surf spots. You can find this property in the middle of Guasacate road, the beach is within 2 minutes' walking distance.
Made out of wood and bamboo, all the design is inspired by our travels and personal taste.
Casa La Aventura provides a peaceful place full of plants, craftsmanship, and chill-out areas where you can relax and feel effortlessly connected to Nature.
The space
Check Out this unique experience. This 1980 Dodge Van was bought as junk and turned into a room with all recycled wood. The details are amazing! There is a lot of time and love put into this space.
All the wood in the van is recycled from other constructions that took place on the property. The wooden reeds are called Caña Castilla.
Inside the Van, there is a queen bed a fan, and two windows that can be opened for airflow. Outside you have your own terrace with a hammock and a table to work or enjoy a meal.
We recently built a new kitchen. Come try this very spacious and fully equipped space, with counter and kitchen cabinets for each room. You will feel at home in our kitchen.
There is WIFI for your convenience.

Other things to note
We suggest you stop in Rivas at Maxi Palí or La Colonia Super Market to shop for groceries since at Popoyo we only have a few mini-markets.
The closest ATM is approximately a 20-25 minutes car drive from Casa La Aventura at La Rivera Plaza in front of Hacienda Iguana or at the Costa Esmeralda Airport. Most businesses only take cash.
