- "St Clair is perfect for an urban hostel. I booked a private room with a queen bed for one night in April. The systems worked smoothly for check-in (door codes, wi-fi, etc.) and check out. The room was clean and neat, with a comfortable bed - more comfortable than I imagined! It matches what you're looking for in budget private room in a larger hostel. The place was overall very quiet and relaxed. I had a room facing the street and I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the environment was. Yes, you can hear the street but it was not intrusive the night I was there. There was no noise from within the hotel. Surely, April is a down time compared to summer and holidays, but overall this place was calm and quiet. The bathroom stalls down the hall worked great and were clean. I did feel the shower's tiled floor could have been cleaner but again it's not a luxury hotel it's a hostel! Good water pressure and hot water! The sink in my room worked great."
