- "Very nice hotel, especially if you need Alanya city center quite often. Of course this is not a 5 star one, 4 at best. Building is not old, room is quite nice. Mine was above an amphitheater so it was easy to watch evening show from the balcony. Food is fine, not super, but you can find what you need. Fish was 2 times a week, sushi once a week. You can always find chicken, fruits and veggies. I was alone, so didn’t spend time in the pool. And this would be quite a challenge, because pool is small and people probably book the spot with the towel from early morning. Kids pool is also small with same problem pf fitting folks around it. Lots of Russians and polish folks in there, so don’t expect good manners around. What really makes this hotel special is their pier! Species, beautiful, really the best in all Alanya (at least this cost of it). Drinks and snacks are served at the beach, which is very comfy. "

- "Well this year has been a year of many firsts and different experiences. After a world wide lockdown and different ways of living, I think most of us were in need of a quality holiday. After mulling over options with all the restrictions in place. Will it be statycation or risk going abroad with everchanging rules. We put our trust in Allah and decided to go Turkey and chose Gold City as our resort. Totally feel it was a blessed choice that was guided by Ar Rahman niRaheem. We took the risk and booked individually through websites on our own and got a deal of the century to start with. On Arrival The looming complex on top of a hill did really look majestic. We arrived at this sprawling complex of a grand hotel and surrounding villas and first impressions were spectacular. Due to Covid the complex was pretty empty We were given a pool facing apartment with a superb view of the sea as well. Apartment was Great. Pluses=Bath with a Jacuzzi, WASHING MACHINE,Balcony with superb views. Comfortable beds. Bath was leaking but we reported it and they repaired the issue so all was fine. There are lots of facilities at the hotel. about 5 restaurants, all were closed due to Covid. They had a burger bar on Lower floors, Enjoy Burger semi Gourmet, type burgers for around £4 to £5 pounds with Chips, Absolutely delish and totally reasonable prices for Hotel of this calibre. Loved the burgers here, ordered quite a few... just call us Elvis. They have a cinema, nightclub, spa and massage facil"

- "Positives: excellent food with a great variety of choices, several conveniently located bars, excellent rooms and facilities, cleanliness, friendly service, no children. Overall, excellent value for money and a very good, smooth experience overall. Negatives: rather noisy place both inside and outside. Inside, due to the building design, all evening entertainment (such as godawful karaoke "singing") is heard without interruptions in all rooms overlooking inner atrium. When the same entertainment is moved to the bar near the pool, the rooms overlooking the pool (i.e. with the sea view) suffer from the same noise. (Fortunately, evening entertainment ends at 11pm. Unfortunately, drunken screams of guests kept coming from that atrium much later than that). Outside, the hotel is located close to the main coastal road between several equally huge hotels, resulting in a lot of noise and dust coming from the road and those hotels. For example, our room with a 'land view' was directly opposite a huge, very loud and noisy ventilation system of the adjacent hotel, which made opening the balcony door or using the balcony itself practically impossible because of very loud noise outside. Overall, the hotel could do better soundproofing, both from the noises inside and outside. What could also be improved: beach could be cleaner; scramble could be better cooked (out of 6 days we spend in the hotel, it was properly cooked only once); air conditioning could be more responsive to the remote."

- "Just returned from a 4 night stay . It’s really far from airport 2.5 hours it took by taxi ! we booked last minute and had little choice . Our room was noisy , corridor noise as we were near a lift . You can hear the room next doors tv . Never sat in the balcony as we were over the car park ! Partial sea view was a glimpse to the side . Very dissapointing . We could only change on the 3rd night as hotel full and we didn’t bother by that point . Room fairly basic , good shower and all clean and working , thin towels .The food was plentiful , most things tasted good and were quickly restocked but there was a lot of repitition . The good things about this hotel are its staff work hard to keep everything spotlessly clean . Staff are nice and try to be helpful . It never takes long to get a drink at the bar . The Starbucks open in the afternoon is a nice touch and the lobby coffee shop is nice . "
