- "Beautiful resort especially the main floor reception area. It’s clean and spacious. There’s lots of comfortable seating. The Turkish bath with the scrub and massage was excellent. The pool although big was very cold. It would have been nice if it was a bit heated. The buffet has a lot of options but repetitive for lunch and dinner. The only thing I found was that the entertainment was not the best. We were there for 5 days four nights and the same performer repeated her performance on two of those nights. Don’t get me wrong she was good but they could have changed it up a bit. Plus making us pay to play Bingo was silly especially since there were different prices for different people. I was charged one price and another of the entertainment staff offered another client 2 cards for less than what I paid for one card. That’s not right. First to charge in an all inclusive and second to charge different rates."

Some staff are very nice and obliging, others are terribly rude! I stayed 9 nights as I went for dental treatment and breakfast was included. - "The staff were very friendly and helpful. They also spoke very good English. The restaurant in the hotel, Social Point, served really delicious food which was reasonably priced and had big portions. House-keeping were always cleaning the room at the same time every-day and doing a very good job of it too. We asked for adjoining rooms, but they didn't have any, so instead they gave us two rooms which were next to each other and had Sea View for no extra cost! Another great feature of the hotel is the location. The Masjid is pretty much next to the hotel and the hotel is a brisk minute walk away from the beach. It is very close to Akendiz Park and the aquarium which was a bonus! The only downside to the hotel I would say is the Air-Conditioners are slightly dated and the lifts are quite small (maximum 4 people at any one time) which was a slight inconvenience to us being a family of 6. Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel and plan on coming back next year. One thing is I hope they extend the Pool opening hours as it is only open from 10am to 8pm. :)"

- "We were told that the desk is manned 24hrs a day, so we would have no issues checking in. (1am) We were greeted by Mr Sarhat, he was welcoming and polite. He later helped me order food in from a take out (2am) In the morning, we were greeted by a new member of staff, Mr Sabir. He was equally a pleasant, polite and helpful person. One one of the days we had a tour booked - they always seem to collect before breakfast. Sabir went to the kitchen and got us some fresh bread (Pisi) which he didn't need to do - this was extremely kind of him. We met Mr Murad, the manager later in the afternoon. He was extremely helpful in getting tours booked. He was also great to have a chat and laugh with! If you visit and decide to book any tours, Murad will gladly help. I would say, take towels, swimwear, and a change of clothes if you go on a boat tour! The breakfasts were traditional Turkish, so if you only eat western continental, do request additional items as you will struggle. Black tea was on tap, coffee too. The rooms were cleaned as long as you put the "clean my room" tag up on the door handle which is as expected. They were always cleaned to a very good standard. They top your fridge/cooler with water on every clean. The pool was a delight to use, especially to cool off from the searing heat of the afternoon! Request towels, as they are not kept poolside. I would visit again in a heartbeat. I loved our stay here. "

- "Over all I enjoyed my stay at the Kartal hotel and would stay there again if i return. The staff are friendly and the location is great not far from the beach and surrounded by good restaurants and at a great price. For the price the breakfast was a bonus but was quite basic but the outside seating and the pool area are excellent. The hotel is privately owned and has a family feel to it, i felt safe there and they were lovely people. The rooms are basic but a nice size but a winner for me was the balcony where you can hang your washed clothes the room also had a good fridge, the bathroom was very good as well. The rooms are not cleaned daily so your not getting clean towels everyday day but just ask if you need them no problem, i just hanged my towel on the balcony it was dried in 5 mins (i think its a waste of money cleaning them everyday anyway), the wifi was good and there was a table and chair that i could sit at when using my laptop. So at the end of the day its an excellent budget friendly hotel in a great location, you might not be living in luxury but your have more money to spend at the local restaurants which is a winner for me as Turkish food is fantastic...
