- "Toll" - "We were all (two couples) pleasantly surprised with our first stay at the Parc Hotel Gritti. Firstly, after a lovely, friendly welcome from the reception staff, we were given two Privilege Rooms, which had a super large terrace with furniture - a great start! The rooms were huge, the beds very comfortable, the large shower was excellent, the kettle and tea-tray was most welcome as was the daily litre bottle of still water that was left in each room. Having read some previous negative reviews, we didn’t know what to expect at breakfast but honestly, we had no problems whatsoever. It was a bit busy at times but we always got a table straight away and we were happy with the choice of food on offer - something for everyone. The breakfast room was kept clean and tidy by a team of smart, efficient staff. The staff throughout the hotel, in fact, were smart, efficient and friendly. A bonus was the provision of afternoon tea each day from 4-5pm - nothing elaborate - just tea, coffee, biscuits and cake or panettone but welcome, all the same. We didn’t actually use the pool area as we had quite poor weather during our stay but everywhere seemed to be well maintained when we walked through - and the gardens and other communal areas were kept tidy. This was our tenth holiday in Bardolino but our first stay at the Gritti - and we all agreed that we would be happy to stay there again! "

" - "The breakfasts are 1st class!" - "Our flight was a little delayed so we arrived at the hotel a little late. The receptionist was very friendly and offered us water as it was a long journey. We checked into our room (there was 4 of us), and we couldn't have asked for a better room. Spacious, clean and comfortable beds. Good size bathroom as well with a power shower. The only drawback to the bathroom is that it needed hooks behind the bathroom door to hang clothes, but it was a minor inconvenience. Breakfast was also very good with an excellent spread and good service. The hotel is literally about a 5 - 7 minute walk to the town centre of Bardolino was has plenty of places to eat and drink. You can also catch ferry's to other towns from the harbour and its quite reasonably priced as well. The hotel also has multiple swimming pools. We really enjoyed our stay here.."

- "A bit of a way out of the nearest town" - "We really liked the location of the property, it was a hop across the road to the lakeside walk to Bardilino, the staff were superb, absolutely excellent customer service. Facilities were lovely, it was super clean, and the shuttle bus to town was an added bonus when especially at night. The only thing I would add and this is a tiny negative is the colour scheme and wallpaper in the rooms is a little outdated, and a freshen up would absolutely make this top notch - but then maybe the prices would go up and its already one of the price hotels in the resort but so worth it. A shout out to the reception staff, what super smiles and helpful manner they have, I would go as far to say the best I have come across for a very long time and I've been away several times this year and cannot praise them enough."

We had to get back to the train station and our initial bus experience took so long, we asked if they could get us a taxi back and they made a call and had a wonderful driver there for us in the morning even arriving a few minutes early. - "Myself and my son have thoroughly enjoyed a five night stay at the hotel. Situated in a picturesque part of the lake it is quiet amd safe. We took advantage of the bike hire on most days cycling to garda, bardolino and cisano. It is a fair walk to bardolino or garda but a gorgeous walk nonetheless. The hotel has its own beach which we managed to get sunbeds when we required them. We loved hiring the paddle boards and kayak but they are like gold dust and unfortunately there only seems to be one of each so we werent able to complete activities together which was a shame. I feel more should be available as my son was disappointed on a couple of occasions to not be able to use them. However this didnt ruin the stay would be better if more were available or reservarions in place. Staff at the hotel were wonderful and couldnt do enough to help. Always very pleasant and courteous. Breakfast was fabulous - a wide range of food and drink available, we didnt use the restaurant at other times. We found the bus stop at the top fantastic plus the local beach bars were very handy - takeaways pizzas were fabulous on a night we were too tired. Only downside was the lack of balconies or a little outside space. Only a few rooms seem to have that available. Overall a fabulous stay and definitely wont be the last visit to the stunning lake garda and hotel sportsman. Thank you"

The hotel is spotless and located on the bank of Lake Garda and a leisurely 10 min walk into Bardolino. The pool is located within a grassed area where the loungers are and a jetty at the front is a great place for diving into the lake. - "Very friendly, nice location one block from from the inner city, just perfect!" - "Great breakfast." - "The hotel is situated in a quiet area only minutes away from the main bus stops, and also a short distance from the centre of the old town and the harbour. The building is effectively on stilts, with generous parking below. Reception, dining room, bar etc are on the first floor with bedrooms above.There is no lift - which probably accounts for its' measly two star rating -so it may be less suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. T in and double rooms are available. The bedrooms and shower/loo rooms are compact, but wardrobe/drawer space is generous, and lighting is good enough to read in bed. Thestandard of cleaniness is excellent throughout but particularly in the dining room. The buffet brekfasts provided plenty of choice. All of the staff were welcoming, helpful and efficient. The guests seemed to be mainly from Germany. We arrived on my wif'e's birthday, andnext day we were astonished to find a bottle of wine on our table with a Happy Birthday card from the owners Giovanni and Privitera - acharming couple. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel."

- "The hotel has a top location, few minutes walking to the city center, which is super nice, full of restaurants, cafes, bars, supermarkt, bank, etc. The street is very loud, and the AC is also a bit loud. The bed was very hard. The breakfast is simple but more than enough. The staff is super friendly, and you can have a beer at the bar. Our AC was not properly working in the first night, but they fixed fastly without problems. Overall, I totally recommend it."
