- "Nice place to relax and unwind" - "(Note we stayed in the rainy season, so we did not see the resort when busy or crowded with day visitors). Creative, attractive architecture for the various mini-hotels in the loop overlooking the awesome view of the hillside and down to the plain of central Luzon, with spectacular views everywhere. Several awesome pools different styles, all in good condition, clean and really nice. The rooms are spacious and modern. (They look just like the pics in Expedia). Beds super comfortable - surprisingly full spring mattresses rather than foam, with crisp sheets and a comforter. Strangely, the beds are dbl size but could easily be queen - there is plenty of room in the room Bathroom ok with hot water. Each hotel building has a covered rooftop, where breakfast was served. Food was quite good and not expensive. Mix of foods is available, both from Tamara cafe and the adventure park cafe. Breakfast is just simple Filipino plate. Thoughts - sad to say, these attractive facilities are slowly degenerating due to maintenance, limited cleaning and given also the tough climate. Some building debris seems like it was never cleared away. As usual missing fixtures etc outside. Likewise, bathroom was dirty in the corners and crevices, this could easily be fixed with some training. "

- "We checked-in here at Brizo Hotel and Beach Resort in Morong Bataan for Dec 3-4, 2022 (saturday-sunday), we were only informed that the pool is not available when we got to the property. We hoped that we were at least informed in advance regarding the situation as we should have made changes to our plans prior to travelling all the way to the property. It's as if we can still cancel on the spot, how are we able to make a different booking if it was that late. I hope readers could know how upsetting this feels, It really felt like we got scammed. Really ruined the trip completely, barely enjoyed with all the time wasted trying to coordinate regarding the situation. The staff were aware of our booking and were expecting us when we arrived. But didn't have anything to offer as a compensation, may it be a discount for our stay, extra hours of stay, complimentary meals, or voucher for a next stay (even if it's unlikely that we will be able to stay again anytime soon) Really nothing. Personally, any thought would've been appreciated because it matters a lot. I also looked up the Brizo Hotel, and saw that the property has been operating since 2014. I hope they get to prepare for scenarios like this and how much this matters to their guests. They called the day after our check-out and all they offered was their sorry, as if it magically healed how painful the whole experience was."

Our rooms are part of a boutique hotel called Sage Leaf located at Camp Kanawan, Morong Bataan. It is located in a unique mountain setting which was the site of the UN refugee camp for indochinese boat people from 1975 to 1995. The fenced area is 365 hectares of wooded forests with very interesting Buddhist monuments spread around the park. It is also adjacent to the Bataan National Park and Morong river where guests can trek and swim.

The space
The room is 44 square meters and tastefully furnished with two queen size beds or one queen and two single beds. It’s has a small sala with a flat screen tv. There is sufficient cabinet space. The bathrooms are hotel size.

Guest access
Guests can access three pools in the property and explore the 365 hectare wooded area of Bataan Technopark where interesting Buddhist monuments and great views are waiting to be discovered. The large open space is very safe for walking or biking. There are sports facilities like basketball courts, football fields and tennis court. A museum about the area is adjacent to the building. There is a minimal charge for entrance to the museum.

Other things to note
Camp Kanawan is adjacent to the Bataan National Park and Morong river. Guests can book guides to trek through the jungle and visit the Aeta village. These is also an interesting 100 meter hanging bridge above the Morong river that is interesting to see. Guests can also swim in the Morong river.

Magarra is a brand new mountain view hotel in the heart of the protected Bataan National Park.
Expect cool weather averaging 18 to 23c at night. The mountains bring you a cozy and calming stay.
Magarra is a low-rise low-density hotel. Surrounded by the Sinagtala compound with swimming pools, zipline, go-cart, sky bike, and many other activities to choose from.

The space
We are part owner of the hotel, and we have time-sharing vouchers that we can let you use to avail of the discounted price.

The vouchers do not include breakfast. However, there are many choices, such Magarra Cafe, Sinagtala Cafe and Duyan Cafe.

All activities will be in Sinagtala, and you may buy vouchers from the front desk or at Sinagtala, 5-minute walk away or a 2-minute free shuttle.

For the Sinagtala Adventure Park rates varry from Php 400 to 750 head. You may choose from selected rides to ride all. You may inquire at the Magarra Front desk or at the SInagtala Activity area.
