- "I stayed here whilst travelling to and from France and Germany. Out of the 6 hotels, I stayed in over the Christmas and new year period, this was by far my favourite. The room was really clean and the bed was comfy with great pillows. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. I was able to park outside the hotel for no charge and I made use of the free public transport card that is provided by the hotel. As the weather was not good, I caught the tram into the centre. The stop is literally opposite the hotel. You can also use the ticket for the funicular railway. The hotel provided a really good map of the centre and information on the trams. Finally the breakfast was really good. The coffee was the best I'd had and I felt that it was well worth the money. I have already recommended this hotel to friends."

We didn't eat anything at the hotel so cannot comment on it but the dining and reception areas downstairs have very nice decor and ambience. Check in and check out was a breeze and all staff were very helpful and professional. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again if I visit Bern again. "
