The location is superb, the owners are very nice, they live in the same building, so they showed us in and also put some useful supplies including two bottles of water, juices, jams, crackers and more, you might call it a breakfast supply. Public transport in Bern is great and the apartment is less than 5 min from the WANDER tram stop (Tram 9) that takes you into the city in less than 10 minutes. The apartment also happens to be very close to the Gurten , which we enjoyed on several occasions this summer. The property manager was always reachable when we needed anything, even on the weekend, which was impressive. They were always kind and generous and helpful . - "A well equipped, warm, modern apartment with good quality appliances and views of the River Aare, just a short walk to the city's attractions. Access to the apartment by car was simple when following Satnav, and garaging is in a secure, dry space under the block. Check-in was clear and trouble free and the owner responded quickly and was very helpful. The apartment overlooks the Aare, providing a lovely space to while away time and people watch, including swimmers even in December. A short and relatively steep walk brings you, via the river bridge and up a sloping path which is well lit at night, into the city near Waisenhausplatz where we enjoyed several glasses of Gluhwein in one of the Christmas markets. From here you can reach city centre attractions easily on foot or on the excellent public transport system which is free to use as your host provides access to the Bern Welcome app. Just a short walk away are the Zytglogge clock, the rose garden, Botanic gardens, and the Barenpark which has 3 residents, along with good shoppping in independent shops or department store Loeb. We enjoyed using the gas bbq but also found, on the same side of the river as the apartment and a short walk away near Barenpark, the Altes Tramdepot - a brewpub/restaurant with good modern beers and food. In the old centre we enjoyed the Biercafe Au Trappiste in Rathaus Gasse and a cafe in department store Loeb. An enjoyable city stay with riverside walks outside the door."

It has a modern and fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, washing machine, coffee machine and kitchen sets for 6 persons. The large bathroom has a bathtub with shower. Washing machine and dryer are available in the laundry room, which is shared with other guests (flexible timings). The flat is equipped with WiFi and cable TV. Bedsheets and towels will be provided and the flat is being cleaned once a week.

This special place is in one of Berne's most beautiful buildings located in the student quarter very close to the main station. There's even a Café and a Creperie in house. If you like cats and fin the siècle, you'll love it.

Whether to the train station or the nightlife of the Lorraine, whether to the old town or to the Aare, to the Wankdorf Stadium or to the Breitsch - from here everything can be reached within a few minutes. Our spacious and bright room offers tranquility and yet is very central. With private direct entrance from the stairwell - regardless of the rest of the hustle and bustle of the main apartment. There is a private guest bathroom in the apartment and you can use it. Kitchen can only be used for longer stays and by arrangement.

Welcome to my home, which I would like to leave to you as long as I am away.

The studio is nice and well decorated. It is located on the outskirts of the city of Bern near Europaplatz. The city center can be reached in a few minutes by S-Bahn, tram or rental bike.

I hope you will feel just as comfortable as I do.

The space
Living/sleeping area with dining table for 2 people, a bed with 140cm wide (rather hard) and beautiful oak parquet.

The location is on the train tracks. With open windows, the trains are easy to hear. Freight trains run at night. With closed windows (modern triple glazing), they are minimal to hear.

The studio has NO wifi!

1 guest: Queen-size bed 1.60 m + 1 face towel + 1 bath towel.

2 guests: Queen bed 1.60 m + 1 face towel + 2 bath towels.

3 guests: Removable single MATTRESS, will be exclusively placed on the bedroom floor, for this purpose + 2 face towels + 3 bath towels.

Smoking is prohibited throughout the interior of the room and apartment, but smoking is allowed on the balcony.

-If you like LEDs, you're in the right place, if you don't, no problem, because all the lighting can be easily turned off by the guest.

-I will always leave the house clean and comfortable for you and I hope you also think about this and leave the common areas as you found them after using them.
The cleaning fee is small and only serves to assist us in cleaning after leaving, (for example: washing bedding, cleaning the room and common areas.
We hope you'll be ready for the next use.

- My kitchen is very well equipped. If you want to cook, don't hesitate to open the cabinets and find the things you need, but be careful where they were so you can put them back in place.
You can use my condiments such as vegetable oil, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, spices, etc. but I ask you to PUT SOME MONEY IN THE JAR (kitchen) so that we can replenish the stock.

- Please don't forget to leave the kitchen and bathroom clean, so that we can also use it.
You don't need to dispose of the trash, just separate the recyclables, I'll take care of the rest.

-It is very important to check out of the room no later than 10:00 a.m., as the next guest can enter from 1:00 p.m. and the room will need to be cleaned beforehand.

- Smoking is prohibited throughout the apartment, but you may use the balcony for this purpose.
