A bit tricky to find (Google sent us the wrong way round), but then we found the shorter way! Surrounded by fields and Swiss cows with bells, plenty of parking, a code to get into the building, apartment, washing room and parking. The apartment was so modern and had everything you needed (apart from air conditioning - that would be my only improvement!). The apartments are so soundproof that you don't hear any other guests, the main beds are like sleeping on clouds, however the sofa bed was very squeaky (rolling over woke me up everytime!). The tele had the BBC so we got to watch the Olympics (which was a huge unexpected bonus). A 30 min drive to Lucerne, walks and bike rides straight from the door, a local shop 1 min walk away. Everything was very clean and looked brand new, the bathroom was huge!! There are only 4 plates, 4 bowls etc, which never filled up the dishwasher!"

The check in process was smooth once receiving the email notification for the pin to get our key. In our case, we arrived a little earlier and Tanita was so nice and grant the room access for us. The hotel location is convenient for the 10 minutes commute to central train station, ferry and bus hub by taking No. 20 bus with the cheapest fee (2CHF) . Our day trips to Mt. Pilatus and Mt. Our Eygrat farm is situated in the centre of the Entlebuch biosphere on a high plateau in a quiet, sunny location. The spacious flat on the top floor with open-plan kitchen, bath/shower/WC is the starting point for nature experiences in summer and winter. Many hiking routes, adventure trails, ski slopes, cross-country ski trails (Sörenberg/Marbach) invite you to discover and enjoy. - "Communication with the host (Hanny) was very good. She responded promptly after we requested information a few days prior to our stay via e-mail. The location of the appartement is away from the village of Marbach going up the mountain (you need a car to get there). The appartment is on the top floor of the farm house. It is very spacious (we were 4 adults and 2 children) and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. The view from the livingroom windows is gorgeous (you can see the valley and the surrounding mountains). The host was very friendly and helpful. You can buy fresh milk, butter and eggs as well as homemade jam for a very reasonable price from the host. Overall the value of this place it great and I would recommend this appartment to families with young children or anybody who is looking for a quiet vaccation."

This year, renovation works are taking place in the house. This may be that the main entrance and elevator are not always clean.

Small cozy room for 2 persons. It is a private room with a shower and toilet. Cooking inside the room is not allowed. It's very quiet even though it's on the main road. From the station, it's 2 km. Bus does not run. It has a bike path all the way to the village.

There are many excursion destinations from here. 10 km to the Marbachegg gondola or 24 km to Sörenberg. The popular Kambly is 11 km away and open every day.

While being in a quiet residential area, this place allows you to reach Luzerne city center within 10 minutes. Bus stops at 50 meter from the house and departs from early morning until midnight very frequently to Lucerne & Pilatus cable car.
