Easy 10 minute walk from the main station despite ongoing construction works in the area. The pillows, however, were torture implements and meant that we had broken sleeps. Breakfast is sort of adequate. Baked-up mass produced rolls (a crime in Germany with all its wonderful bread), horrible yoghurt, but nice teas and coffee and a small range of cheese, meats and spreads, couple of cereals. Only 3 tables which were very high with bar stools. Not suitable for vertically challenged people but I suppose uncomfortable enough to make you leave quickly and vacate the table for other guests. We appreciated having the space and a kitchenette and would come again. "

Another attraction is the monastery Benediktinerabtei Stift Neuburg. In addition to agriculture and a farm shop there is also a restaurant with good home cooking. Our house is located in the beautiful district of Heidelberg-Ziegelhausen on a slope directly on the edge of the forest. The road to the house goes uphill. From the driveway, go down a few steps (about 34) to the entrance of the house. The apartment is located on the first floor, which is also accessible via a staircase.
From the dining room you have a beautiful panoramic view of the Neckar valley. The living room has a TV (SAT / TV), DVD player and a radio / CD player, as well as books and several board games.

I highly recommend it for the price and views, the location is not for the faint of heart in driving up a hillside with tight turns, but that did not effect me or my sister (who was born in Heidelberg) in the slightest! Very well stocked, (coffee beans, paper towel, toilet paper, handsoap, dishsoap, garbage bags, etc.), could use a proper cutting board or two. Hallway and entry way very well lit,all on sensor lighting, impeccably clean throughout. If you are not used to European/German washing/drying/bathrooms/stoves, you might want some instructions for use, but doable as is. Service: Thea was quick to respond to questions and brought us a hand blender in a matter of hours when ours broke! There was a lovely bouquet of flowers, some snacks and Prosecco to welcome us and we found we settled in quite easily. This property would be an excellent choice for the single traveler or those looking for a long term rental. We stayed for 10 days and were comfortable throughout. Works with infants too, we paid an additional daily fee, but this included the use of a high chair and crib. A bit of a challenge with the bathroom lights shining into bedroom as there is large windows in that wall. So if your infant is sensitive to light, they might struggle. Even though there are steps into the property, we managed fine with our heavy Swedish stroller. Obviously not baby proofed and baby gates would not work so you might be running after your infant depending on their age. "

On the hill opposite the famous Heidelberg castle, there is one romantic vintage house which will welcome you! Beholding the best view onto the castle, the Old Bridge, the old city and especially the Neckar river, you will have a once-in-a lifetime experience!

The space
The old house, which can only be reached over a 108 steps outdoor staircase, is mainly built of wood* and consists of three floors.

The ground floor, where the main entrance and the garden terraces are, has private rooms just as the first floor.
On the second floor under the roof is a small double bedroom with morning sun and a larger bedroom with a double bed and a single bed plus an old balcony.
The house is really only available through an outdoor staircase of about 108 stairs (be my guest to re-count).
You will rent either of these two bedrooms on the second floor with a common bathroom on the first floor.

Please be aware that this offer does not grant access to any kind of kitchen! It's a pure bath- & bedroom offer. :-)

Guest access
You will have access to your private sleeping room, the bathroom, the entrance room and the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. If I'm not at home you can also use my other common rooms (dining room, living room, terrace & library), if you leave them as clean as you found them. ;-)

I would be very happy to welcome you in my large, cozy room (30 qm, space for 1 to 6 persons) with own bath room. It is located in the basement of my apartment, you are there on your own.

The normal occupancy would be 4 persons, but there can be put an extra double matrace for extra two persons, then it is rather narrow/ few space left (see photo).

The room is located in Heidelberg Rohrbach, approx. 4 km away from the city centre, very well reachable by public transport (details see below).

Due to its proximity to the center (2.5 kms) as well as the university and the clinic (3 kms), it is particularly suitable for short and medium-term stays, e.g. work permits, internships or hospital stays. The accommodation is ideal for 1 person. With the existing guest bed option, a 2 .Person can stay at short notice.

The space
Welcome to my studio in Heidelberg - Pfaffengrund .

The studio is located in the basement of a family house with own entrance, approx 30m ², a Sing - bed (on request, more a Singe-bed for the second ), a kitchen with fridge with freezer , microwave, coffee maker, kettle , crockery, double plate-ceramic hob, dishwasher , toast, washing machine. A small shower room belongs to the studio, it is in house and located about 1 meter corridor of behind-door eliminator.
Initial bed linen, initial supply-Towels and toilet thing and shampoo, showgel available.

Free bicycles to borrow during your stay.

Do I live , hostess, in the Upper Floor . In our house currently live 2 people : I and my husband .
Language we can speak in German,Vietnamese and English (a little).
