- "Super" - "Clean, spacious, fully equipped and quiet apartment on ground floor with private garden/terrace in quiet living quarter. Bakery down the road; supermarket in nearby village. Friendly and communactive host." - "We (2 adults, 2 small kids) stayed in this ground floor flat in June 2017. Place is clean and modern. Kitchen and bathroom go to back of house, bedrooms and living room to street. Street parking only but was enough space with no issue. Flat: Kitchen very spacious, dishwasher, ceramic glass cook top, plenty of dishes and glasses, pots and cutlery. Big dining table. Dish washing liquid, paper towels, tea towels supplied. Basic spices and sugar available. Kettle, toaster, coffee machine. Bathroom big shower and toilet, 2 cupboards. Not as spacious as rest of flat. Shower with two shower heads but leaks under door a lot. Shower gel and hand soap supplied. Two towels per person, plus some extra for floor and hands. Cupboard has some basic cleaning materials. Vacuum cleaner and mop also available. Hallway spacious enough for kids to run around, extra wardrobe for jackets and bags. Both bedrooms as per pictures, in-built 4-door ward robes in both. Master bedroom with night stand and night lights, little TV (German only), and extra shelf. Minor bedroom with little side table and one night light. Living room with 2 seater lounge, another huge dining table, TV and wood fired oven. All three street rooms open to garden and have roller shutters on doors and windows. Garden is available for sole use. Another table with chairs, covered from rain by upstairs balcony. Garden is unfortunately not fully fenced off so kids need to be supervised all times. Host lives upstairs, late check-in was no issue. Can hear walking noise from upstairs, but wasn't too bad. Wifi worked very well, contact phone numbers, restaurants and transport info & time tables available. We asked for and got supplied with cot, high chair and plastic dinnerware for our little one. Location: In Gruenwettersbach, bakery 350m down the hill (with take away coffee), kebab shop 900m (closed on Saturdays!), supermarket 1.5km. There are 3 or 4 restaurants here and in next village Palmbach. More restaurants available in Ettlingen and Karlsruhe itself. Good connection via car into Karlsruhe taking the south bypass, keep to left lanes on that one as right lanes full of traffic jams caused by merging traffic onto the Autobahns. Also, keep to posted speed limit, about 5 speed cameras along there. Did not try public transport into town. All up a very good place, nice and clean. Very nice hosts, good location. Good place to come for a long stay."
