The suites were spacious and clean, and the front desk employees were very helpful. It's a little tricky following GPS to get to the front door in a car, because the road signs will make you think you're not allowed to go a certain direction down the street, but after we figured that out, we were fine. The parking garage for the lodging is actually one block parallel to the main entrance. I would stay here again!"

- "Very old and dirty in the unit, lobby was clean. We had to use to fold out and I was afraid of bed bugs, the mattress was so gross! I went with blind faith that the blankets were clean and layered them on top. We asked for another duvet or blankets and was told they don’t have any. It was an easy, very direct three minute walk from the railway station with cases etc and within spitting distance of a bridge over the canal for a five minute stroll into the city centre. The apartment is perfect for a couple and had all we needed for our stay. It was warm and (mostly) private, as long as you remembered it overlooked other buildings and a tram stop! The management were quite open about things being a bit tired here and there so there weren't any great surprises. Our apartment is located in Petite France area, in the most beautiful historic part of the city center. The train station is very close (around 10 min walk), a public parking is also very close (8 min, the cost is 12€/24h).
The building (18th century) is in a quiet pedestrian street. The flat is on the 3rd US floor (=2nd french floor), without any elevator but the staircase is wide. The flat was fully renovated in 2018. You will find a large living-room with a comfortable sofabed, TV, wireless access. The kitchen is well furnished with oven, microwave, coffee machine, nespresso, dishwasher...You will find coffee, filters, sugar, teas, a bottle of milk and one of orange juice, jam. The apartment is located 350 meters (5 min walk) from the train station and 450 meters from the old town, "La petite France". The nearest tram stop is 280 meters (4 min walk).
* During the summer of 2019 there is construction work in the neighborhood for the extension of the tram line, so this tram stop will be closed for about a month *
For parking there is free parking 850 meters from the apartment, and very few paying parking spots around the building.

Guest access
You will have access to our balcony overlooking a small church. This balcony is only accessible through the living room and not by the bedroom. If you are a smoker, you can smoke there.
You can also share our large kitchen. There is a kettle, tea, an Italian coffee maker, coffee and all you need for cooking (except for a microwave).

During your stay
We normally work on weekdays during regular work hours in France (9:00 to 12:00 / 14:00 to 18:00). However we can (if previous guests have already left) leave the keys in a secure box to allow travelers to access their room while we are away.

Other things to note
We have a black cat at home. She will normally be forbidden to come into the Airbnb room and the hallway around, but it has happened once or twice that she does it anyway. We advise travelers to close the door of their room if they don't want to be bothered.

You will be in the immediate vicinity of Strasbourg Cathedral, Place Kléber and the Museum of Fine Arts, as well as universities and colleges such as Sciences Po Strasbourg or the University of Strasbourg. The apartment is also close to the Civil Hospital (nhc)

This 31m2 studio has a kitchen equipped with everything needed to prepare meals with hob, fridge, oven, microwave, kettle. The living/sleeping area is equipped with a television to entertain you, while the comfortable bed (two single beds or a double bed, according to request) will provide you with a good night's sleep. A bathroom with bath tub completes the apartment. A washing machine is also at your disposal so that you can do your laundry at your convenience.

The whole apartment will be yours. Always in the spirit of satisfying you at best during your stay:
- cleaning will be done,
- the beds will be made with clean sheets,
- clean towels will be at your disposal as well as a bath mat per bathroom and a tea towel in the kitchen,
- free Wifi connection

Bed linen and towels are provided on arrival, as well as standard cleaning at the end of the stay. You can also benefit from a complete cleaning service of the apartment on request during the stay or change of linen. These services are at an additional cost and upon prior reservation.

House rules:

This apartment is non-smoking. The use of cigarettes, e-cigarettes, hookahs and any other smoking device is prohibited.
Smoking or using a smoking device will result in an additional €250 cleaning charge penalty.

Bed linen and towels as well as standard final cleaning at the end of the stay are included in the price. This includes change of bed linen, general cleaning of the apartment and sanitary facilities.

However, it is up to you to clean and put away the dishes, take out the garbage cans, empty the fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave as well as tidy up inside the apartment. If you do not want to take care of this, you can order a supplement called "complete cleaning" of the apartment before your arrival for 60 euros. In the absence of prior reservation of this option, and in the event of non-compliance with these instructions, penalties of 120€ for cleaning costs will be invoiced to you.

Pets are strictly prohibited.

This accommodation is reserved for people eligible for the mobility lease (When the lease begins, the tenant must be in one of the following situations: Vocational training, Higher education, Apprenticeship contract, Internship, Voluntary commitment as part of a civic service, professional transfer, or temporary assignment in the context of professional activity).
