- "Being able to stand in the Gite and lean out the window right into the Main Street of Riquewihr was something out of a fairy tale. The room is very nice, well equipped, beds were comfortable. There is a very steep interior staircase leading up to the second floor, for which I had to keep a close eye on my toddler but the keypad access was very convenient and like I said the location is unbeatable. Being able to be out in the village and dawn and dusk was really nice and you can avoid a lot of crowds, plus you get to feel like a local."

- "We (2 adults, 2 kids 1+4yrs) looked for a gite/holiday appartment in Alsace. We wanted to make day tours in the area and do a few trips on road bike. The gite of Mr. El Khayati and the town of Riquewihr proved to be perfect for us. Riquewihr has a central location in Alsace, thus perfect for exploring the area. The gite itself had everything we needed, and it has its own private parking place. For loading/unloading the car we could drive in front of the gite, but it is a bit tricky through the medieval streets of Riquewihr - Mr. El Khayati was friendly enough to escort us on the 1st day. Otherwise when we did grocery shopping we carried all from the parking place (maybe 100m). In the gite itself, everything was clean and in very good shape. We especially appreciated the washing machine and dishwasher (and my son the TV ;). The kitchen was perfect as we did a lot of our own cooking. The cherry on the cake was the heating; the building is very old and can be a bit chilly, but the heating worked flawless and our baby didn't have any issues in feeling comfortable. Mr. El Khayati was very helpful in sorting our questions out - big thanks for that. All in all, a high reco for this gite if you are travelling with kids."

The name of this studio is "Refuge du Lutin" in French. Which means "Refuge of the Imp". If you search the internet for imps, you will learn that of all dwarves imps are the smallest and the wisest. Imps are usually between 2 feet 2 inches and 3 feet 5 inches tall and mostly have fair, red or light brown hair and clear green, blue or grey eyes. Should you be somehow taller, you could still have a comfortable stay in this studio which is twice as large as many hotel rooms!
