Other things to note
Colmar is a beautiful Alsatian city, known for its historic center that offers a rich heritage of both history and beauty. All year-round and in all seasons, many activities make it possible to diversify its outings: among others, the Feast of Food and the Book Fair in autumn; the known Christmas Markets even beyond the borders in winter; the Easter Markets in spring, the Jazz Festival and the unmissable Wine Fairs in summer. Visits to museums, that of Unterlinden, Bartholdi and Jouet, also make it possible to spend pleasant cultural moments.

Tourist villages like Kaysersberg, Riquewihr, and Eguisheim (the latter referenced as the most beautiful village in France) among others, located less than 10 min drive from Colmar, perfectly testify to the typical Alsatian charm. The Vauban fortifications of Neuf-Brisach, the many castles including that of Haut-Kœnigsbourg, are also worth visiting.

Outdoor activities are not to be outdone, and will discover and appreciate the varied landscape of Alsace, and in particular the Haut-Rhin: hikes in the Vosges, discovery of lakes including the magical Lac Blanc, winter sports such as cross-country skiing, downhill, sledding, snowshoeing..., the Golf d 'Ammerschwihr, the nautical base of Colmar, the Wine Route with its visits of cellars leading to exquisite tastings, the discovery by plane/helicopter to fly over the territory… The Écomusée d' Alsace and the Europa Park amusement park, are added to this long list of activities.
