The stunning view down the Fecht valley was the backdrop to many memorable meals on the terrace. Church bells, storks wheeling in the thermals above the house and brilliant starlit nights made al fresco dining even more magical. Munster is a lovely, not very touristy wee town with an excellent range of shops only a few minutes walk away from the house, but even better, there are literally hundreds of paths around Munster- only 2-3 minutes from the house you can find paths through the beautiful mature forests that cover the sides of the valley. Our hosts were away for the first week of our two week stay, but when a problem occurred with the cooker, Thomas' brother appeared within minutes and sorted everything out speedily and with wonderful good humour. Thanks to the whole family for a lovely stay!"

- "I cannot stress just how lovely this 3-bed property is. It has been finished to an extremely high standard, and the main shower is out of this world (3 jets) plus luxurious bath (with TV to watch). All three beds were comfortable, rooms spacious, giant cinema TV and huge very comfortable sofa. Kitchen is big and well-stocked with coffee, tea, salt, oil, herbs, washing tabs. You cannot want for anything in this space, and the beautiful wooden floors have underfloor heating. You are in the heart of Munster and can walk to local cheese, sausage and wine shops, all very reasonably priced plus there are three maybe four bakeries. Well located to visit nearby Colmar, the War Memorial de Linge (definitely worth a visit) Riqhuewihr, Kayserberg, Turqheim. We will definitely stay again!
