This beautiful, bright 2-room apartment is located on the 2nd Upper floor of a 2-family house completed in 2013. It has an inviting living room that is very open and spacious due to its ceiling height. Next to the dining area there is a comfortable leather couch with a long chair, where you can relax, watch TV or enjoy the view of the Schönberg. The sofa can be quickly and easily transformed into a 1.60 m bed that can comfortably sleep 2 people. The large roof terrace, which faces south, offers a fantastic view. An electric awning provides a shady spot even in summer. There is also a cozy bedroom with a double bed (2.00mx 1.80m) and a second TV. A separate, fully equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom with walk-in shower and washing machine complete this apartment. Just a short eight minutes tram ride to the HBF and a couple minutes more to center of city. My wife and I are runners and ran every morning we stayed there. We ran around the SeePark several times, but the best run was just a short , less than a half mile run in the direction that tram runs, bringing you to the apartment, to the river and there is a trail that runs along the river that seems to go on forever. We ran about five miles on it and it kept going, BEAUTIFUL! If you're planning a trip to Freiburg, definitely plan on staying at Sabine's if there is availability. You won't be disappointed!"

Gorgeous modern bathroom, barn door gets caught on carpet (photos show it was originally hardwood), so door didn't close completely. Secured parking was easy walk from property. Some minor wear and tear, but overall modern, beautiful property. Would rent againa and recommend!"

I contacted them twice by email, which is what the property manager said was the only way to get a refund and it was radio silence. So, I cannot recommend this place or company. "

- "The hotel had just opened up so everything was very clean and new. We had 2 main issues during our stay. The first was our bathroom. Our sink was leaking so parts of our floor and towels were wet. When we spoke to someone at reception, she told us that she would send us new towels, which was helpful. The shower also doesn't drain very well so the floors were constantly wet. Our second issue was with soundproofing. We stayed on the ground floor and we could hear everyone in the hallways and the main door slamming every time someone came in or went out. Guest house with wellness In old converted barn, we have created four modern apartments with a lot of heart. We tried to connect the old with the new, preserving the original walls and the roof. Room is located in a DG apartment on Hörchersberg with great views of Freiburg and the Dreisamtal! It is about 30-40 minutes to the city center with the public transport, the apartment is located on a small mountain. Please note that other guests can be available in another room.


Flat has a wonderful view over Freiburg and the blackforest area. It is a bit up the hill and about 30-40 minutes away from the center. It's possible that other guests will be there.

The space
The room is located in my mother's DG apartment.
The apartment building is built in the 70s.
To reach the room, a small mountain climb (if no car is available) and some steps (3rd floor) are necessary. Please be aware that the apartment is not located in the city center, it is best to check it out with Google Maps.
We rent another room in the apartment, which is why other guests can be present.
There are bathrooms with a tub and toilet and a small one with a shower and toilet.
Shampoo, conditioner,shower and towels are available.
The kitchen can of course be shared, there is also space in the fridge and tea, coffee and a few things for shared use.

It is 30-45 min. to the center by bus and train, by bike takes about 20 min.
Unfortunately, parking in the yard in front of the house is not allowed, it must be searched for a parking space in the street, which can sometimes be a few meters away.


The room is in my Mothers Apartment. It was built around 1960 so it's not new but has it's Charme. we also have another room next to this room online so there might be other guests. The room is in the penthouse of the house and there is no lift. There are living 2 other familys and a woman in the house. There is a washing machine , you have your space in the fridge and there is coffee, tea and some other stuff you can use. We offer you towels, Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel aswell.
We have free wifi.
It takes about 30-45 min. to get to the center of freiburg with bus and tram. 20min. with the bike. Unfortunately you can't use the parking Spots in the area in Front of the House, since they are private, but you can park somewhere in the street. This apartment is not in the Center, it is on the border of Freiburg :)

The Room is in the apartement of my Mother, but i organise everything and live a few streets away with my family.

Since it is not a private apartement and you share some rooms with my mother, you should be interested in saying hello and communicate, you can always ask me ( via messenger) or my mother if you need to know anything!

The offered room is located in my mother's apartment, I myself live a few streets away with my family and will be responsible for the organizational and key handover and will answer your questions.
Since the kitchen and bathrooms are used together, you are in contact with my mother and other potential guests during the stay, which is usually felt very pleasant. A nice welcome and open communication are therefore important as this property is a private household and not a hotel.

The apartment is located on a slope and you have a nice view of the dreisamtal. Those who arrive by public transport must first go a few meters uphill. In front of the house there are some steps and the apartment is located in the attic, so a few stairs have to be climbed.

Other things to note
Another room is rented out, so there may be other guests in the apartment.
The room does not have a room key to lock the door, of course there is discretion here and no one will enter the room unsolicited.


Theres one more room that is also for rent via airbnb, so it is possible that there are more guests in the apartement. The Room has no Key, but it is clear that Nobody is allowed to enter without being asked.

The room door has glass, which is non transparent and covered with sticker paper so no one can see inside or outside, but you can still see the light in the hallway when it's on.

Separate room (17 m², for one person) with bathroom on the top floor of a passive house in Freiburg's eco-district of Vauban.
