The pillows, however, were torture implements and meant that we had broken sleeps. Breakfast is sort of adequate. Baked-up mass produced rolls (a crime in Germany with all its wonderful bread), horrible yoghurt, but nice teas and coffee and a small range of cheese, meats and spreads, couple of cereals. Only 3 tables which were very high with bar stools. Not suitable for vertically challenged people but I suppose uncomfortable enough to make you leave quickly and vacate the table for other guests. We appreciated having the space and a kitchenette and would come again. "

You spend the night in the heart of the old town of Heidelberg in a historic house on Oberbadgasse, which is located just opposite the former city wall. Our house is located in the beautiful district of Heidelberg-Ziegelhausen on a slope directly on the edge of the forest. The road to the house goes uphill. From the driveway, go down a few steps (about 34) to the entrance of the house. The apartment is located on the first floor, which is also accessible via a staircase.
From the dining room you have a beautiful panoramic view of the Neckar valley. The living room has a TV (SAT / TV), DVD player and a radio / CD player, as well as books and several board games.

For sleeping it has a double bed and a extendable day bed (each sleeps 2 persons).
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-supply (oven, microwave, cooker, fridge, coffee machine, dishes).
The bathroom has a bathtub for bathing/showering and a toilet (no washing machine).
From the large windows you have a great view and a a lot of daylight.

If you are not used to European/German washing/drying/bathrooms/stoves, you might want some instructions for use, but doable as is. Service: Thea was quick to respond to questions and brought us a hand blender in a matter of hours when ours broke! There was a lovely bouquet of flowers, some snacks and Prosecco to welcome us and we found we settled in quite easily. This property would be an excellent choice for the single traveler or those looking for a long term rental. We stayed for 10 days and were comfortable throughout. Works with infants too, we paid an additional daily fee, but this included the use of a high chair and crib. A bit of a challenge with the bathroom lights shining into bedroom as there is large windows in that wall. So if your infant is sensitive to light, they might struggle. Even though there are steps into the property, we managed fine with our heavy Swedish stroller. Obviously not baby proofed and baby gates would not work so you might be running after your infant depending on their age. "

In our cozy house you can relax, work and feel comfortable. The center/old town of Heidelberg is only 10 minutes by bus, bicycle ( can be rented for 2 euros/ day, ) or tram in just 10 minutes. Location is quiet in a dead end street. Supermarket and bakery is 3 mins away. The Neckar is within walking distance.

The room is about 10 square meters, bright and cozy. It is located on the second floor. Wi-Fi is available in the house. It has its own balcony access balcony for use. The bathroom is across from it.

A 3 room apartment in a quite location near Nature but also in the City...

The space
It is a 3 room apartment in an apartment building (9 floors) in Emmertsgrundpassage.

Your room is approximately 17 square meters and includes a desk with chair, bed with mattress and a wardrobe.

The kitchen actually has all what you need.

One room is mine and the third room we can use as a storage room.

During your stay
I would live with you in the apartment. I'm Yeprem, I completed my master's degree in energy technology and now work as a PLC Engineer.

It's ideal for hiking because you can be in the forest on the hiking trail in just 5 minutes.
