This holiday home was built in 1728 and has only been completely renovated and restored by us ever since. With an award-winning architect, the monument office and a restorer, we restored everything in detail as it did in the 18th Century. Of course there is heating, bathrooms and WiFi from 2016 today. - "Overall it was fantastic to stay in a part of history, and even with renovations they kept the essence of the building and community. The kitchen, and bathroom was fantastic!! Bedrooms were a good size and had good lighting and windows for breeze. The only thing I would see doing is downstairs having a larger sofa that turns into a bed might be a great option. Partly because since the stairs are original, not everyone can make it up and down safely. This could make that room into a living room suite, its big enough for a queen size sofa bed with all the furniture still in there. The downstairs WC was a nice edition so not having to go upstairs unnecessarily. And the courtyard was fantastic to have, for breakfast and dinners without being in a public space. Also the laundry was a blessing because we were there for over two weeks, so keeping things clean was a must. The host family was gracious and welcoming, never once was there any issue with anything!! The location was fantastic, parking was not hard at all, the village was easy to navigate once driving a few times and walks were fantastic in the evenings. Overall I’m definitely saving the place for consideration for my next trip to Germany!!"

The bakery is 500m, a kiosk 400m and a restaurant 250m away. To gas station drive for about 1 minute and the supermarket about 2 minutes by car. The connection to the freeway 66 Frankfurt / Rudesheim and the 643 direction Mainz is very good (about 3 min.). The investor for Navigation on the Rhine has been reached in 5 minutes by car. From Central Station you may very well come to the Frankfurt airport (about 40 min. S-Bahn, 25 min. Car). Frankfurt is about 10 minutes longer.

In allen Häusern rund um unsere Unterkunft leben ganz normale Familien. Keine von ihnen vermietet ihre Unterkunft an Touristen. Sie haben einen Job, der auf sie wartet, und ihre Kinder gehen zur Schule. - "Cute apt. Loved the high ceilings and spacious bedrooms. Did not like the smelly rug in the bathroom or the lack of « cleanliness » kitchen floor and counters. I think we left it cleaner than when we arrived. I just think whoever is the cleaning lady there needs to do a better job. We didn’t bring shampoo bec it said it was provided- not completely true. The shampoo looked like left overs from previous guests. So we had to buy one at the store. We also had to buy coffee, and toilet paper because the only provide 2 days worth of it. The area is noisy. Sirens every night. It’s a non smoking apt but the neighbors all smoke and the smell carries over. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay if you’re not picky about sanitation or odors. The host is very nice."

I offer an attic room in a cozy but visibly older townhouse (built in 1932), with kitchen, bathroom and garden shared use. We offer a fully furnished, large and cosy guest room (26 sqm) in the daylight basement of a separate one-family house with a large lovely garden and a winter garden with fireplace in a quiet suburb of Wiesbaden.

Guest WC in the basement, guest bathroom in the ground floor, kitchen, dining room, winter garden with fireplace, garden including teahouse as well as music and books from our library in the living room.

During your stay
Our guests are invited to join our activities in house and garden, e.g. joint breakfast and/or dinner, an evening by the fireplace or summer barbecues in the garden. Additionally, we can give you many tips for cultural and tourist activities in Wiesbaden and the surrounding area (art exhibitions, museums, concerts and other events, walking-tours etc.). Just ask us for help!
