- "What i like was the service from the reception and the restaurant, professionelle, fast, friendly and all the time one the point. The room was really ok but you see that the room is not "new"....its a feeling like in the 70's What i dont like was the service on the bar outside, after a long time of waiting and more times asking we get the card first, after another long time without a service we stand up and go....also the service employees at the bar dont clean in this time the table from the people before and that all with not much work outside. A other thing is that you have to pay at the check-in another 200 Euro for the services, when you pay the stay before, its not like i know it from other higher class hotels, you get the money back if you dont let write a bill on your room number but like i say i dont like it really. Totally for me it's a great and beautiful Hotel in a beautiful environment, with rooms who sends you back in time. With really friendly and professionelle employees at the reception, the restaurant and rooms. We suspect that the management knows about the odor situation because windows in the rooms and hallways were open in the November cold weather. The bathroom was really small, but I made it work. The normal price of these rooms reflects the type of hotel it is, but I was here for a conference and room rates were triple what they normally are, so it did not seemm like a great value."

- "This is a very modern privately owned hotel in a a quiet side street about 120 metres from the Griesheim station which is 2 stops to the main Frankfurt station. As I was arriving very late I called the hotel the evening before and they gave me a key code access number that enabled me to get in through the main door and also my room. I had been allocated a mini suite which had a sitting area,kitchenette and dining area as well as a separate bedroom with an emperor size bed and a separate bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet. The satellite TV had a wide range of multi language programming and the inclusive WiFi was very good. The cleanliness of the room and hotel was excellent. The inclusive breakfast was well prepared to a high standard and with a good choice. All the staff were very friendly and helpful despite having to communicate in their not native language as I am only an English speaker. There were several small restaurants close by along with a couple of convenience stores. This 3 night stay was a real joy and I look forward to staying here again on my next visit to Frankfurt. The room is large and sunny, the daylight bathroom is only used by you. Internet and printer are available to you. Alternatively, I offer another room in the house for 3 people.

On the first floor of the large single-family house I rent a private space and a daylight bath. Both rooms are located above the rooms that I use, so you are on your own if you want peace and quiet.

On the ground floor is the large kitchen-living room with dining table, which can also be used by you for cooking. Directly from there it goes through a sliding door to the terrace and garden, which invites you to relax in appropriate weather with tables, chairs, sun loungers and a large parasol.

Half a level lower than the kitchen is a washing machine and a dryer, which can be used after prior consultation with me.
On the same level as their room and bathroom is a working space that is used about an hour a day to pack goods. In this room are fax, printer, copier and scanner. If I am at home (which is the case more often because I also work from here) I can answer your questions, help you further by prior arrangement (not possible without agreement, as I am occasionally traveling professionally) to the S-Bahn or also (for a fee) to the airport.

At check-in, I always try to be there in person. If this is not possible exceptionally, my son Michael or my neighbor Julia will take care of that. One to two days before your arrival, I am looking for contact with you via email or phone to find an approximate arrival so that you are sure that everything is organized upon your arrival and everything is organized and waiting for you.

I have 3 cats – all 3 are free-roaming and can get out and in through the basement of the house alone as they like. In summer they are little to see, in winter you like to warm up in winter. Often from me in the study or kitchen.

These are:
free pick-up and drop-off service from the house to Hofheim train station and vice versa The S-Bahn S2 connects Hofheim (train station) with Frankfurt every 30 minutes / on weekends every 60 minutes.
The express bus X17 connects Hofheim (Bahnhof) with Frankfurt every 30 minutes / on weekends every 60 minutes.
On the day of arrival and departure I pick up and bring my guests free of charge from /to the train station in Hofheim when I am at home at this time (please inquire before booking).
Directly at the house is a garage. For example, you can leave your vehicle with me during your trip (flight/ train ) and take the express bus X17 to the airport (travel costs per person approx. €5). The cost to use the garage is €5 per day. (please ask before booking if the garage is free at the time).
