With an award-winning architect, the monument office and a restorer, we restored everything in detail as it did in the 18th Century. Of course there is heating, bathrooms and WiFi from 2016 today. - "Overall it was fantastic to stay in a part of history, and even with renovations they kept the essence of the building and community. The kitchen, and bathroom was fantastic!! Bedrooms were a good size and had good lighting and windows for breeze. The only thing I would see doing is downstairs having a larger sofa that turns into a bed might be a great option. Partly because since the stairs are original, not everyone can make it up and down safely. This could make that room into a living room suite, its big enough for a queen size sofa bed with all the furniture still in there. The downstairs WC was a nice edition so not having to go upstairs unnecessarily. And the courtyard was fantastic to have, for breakfast and dinners without being in a public space. Also the laundry was a blessing because we were there for over two weeks, so keeping things clean was a must. The host family was gracious and welcoming, never once was there any issue with anything!! The location was fantastic, parking was not hard at all, the village was easy to navigate once driving a few times and walks were fantastic in the evenings. Overall I’m definitely saving the place for consideration for my next trip to Germany!!"

Küchenmesser, Werkzeuge und andere Dinge, an denen sich Kinder verletzen können, sind nicht verschlossen, und die Unterkunft ist nicht kindersicher. Der Unterzeichner ist sich bewusst, dass der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft auf eigene Gefahr und Kosten erfolgt. Der/die Unterzeichnende bestätigt außerdem, dass er/sie die gesamtschuldnerische Haftung für Sachschäden oder Verlust übernimmt, die während des Mietzeitraums in der Unterkunft entstehen. In allen Häusern rund um unsere Unterkunft leben ganz normale Familien. Keine von ihnen vermietet ihre Unterkunft an Touristen. Sie haben einen Job, der auf sie wartet, und ihre Kinder gehen zur Schule. Wir wünschten, es wäre so einfach, dass wir unsere Gäste bitten könnten, sich respektvoll zu verhalten, und das würde reichen. Insgesamt kümmern sich die Gäste, die in die Unterkunft kommen, hervorragend. Aber es gibt auch viele Gäste, die extra Gäste und Partys geplant und bewusst lautstark mitgebracht haben. Deshalb haben wir nach und nach mehr und klarere Regeln eingeführt und waren gezwungen, die Unterkunft mit Kameras und Dezibelmessgeräten auszustatten.

Leider passiert es relativ oft, dass Gäste, die sich eine Woche lang hervorragend benommen haben, eines Abends mit etwas zu viel Alkohol im Körper aus den Städten zurückkehren und Kontrolle verlieren.
