The apartment is located on the top floor of an apartment building and has a beautiful view of the imposing mountains of Garmisch-Partenkirchen through the floor and location. At the heart of the facility are homely colors and natural materials, the connection between modern and rural furnishings. Many of the fittings and furniture were made by hand and were made to match the character of the apartment. The bedroom has an open roof structure with a lot of visible wood and a generous, fantastic view of Alpspitze, Waxenstein and Zugspitze. A 47 inch LCD TV is used for cozy TV hours. There is a large fly screen in front of the window for mosquito and fly-free sleeping.

In the center of the living room is a stylish soapstone stove with a large viewing window to enjoy a lot of crackling, warm comfort in the living room on cold evenings. In addition to the cozy sofa corner with the same 47 inch LCD TV as in the bedroom, there is also a dining area available.

The bathroom has a spacious shower, toilet and double sink.

The sun welcomes you in the kitchen in the morning, a wonderful place for the first coffee of the day. From here you have a view of the large Olympic ski jump in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. This is an apartment -not a hotel, so there are no consumables provided except toilet tissue. We found dishwashing detergent left by a former guest and left some laundry detergent, but be aware that you can't expect it. There is a good REWA supermarket on the way to Garmisch (park at the lower level and take your shopping cart on the elevator) as well as a big store which sells beer, wine, and juices. The tap water is as good as any bottled water. We spent 4 nights here and felt right at home. Frau Ludwig is a nice lady and a great host. It's a bit of a drive to the castles area, (well maintained, narrow curvy roads) but the cog wheel train to Zugspitze is in nearby Garmisch. Partenkirchen is a walkable Bavarian town with scenic painted buildings and shops selling interesting items."

But there are also many wonderful lakes for swimming. The Garmisch-Classic ski area is just 3 km away.
Last but not least: Supermarket and bakery are in 300 m, and a bus stop is also in front of the door.

It's a 10-15 min walk to the main part of town. A great location for exploring. It's very close to a public swimming pool as well. Whether you want to put your feet up and enjoy the gigantic Mountain View, or spend a cosy evening by the fireplace in winter: Both are easily possible here. The large window front brings sufficient light into the apartment at all times and should it be dark for a longer period of time, electric shutters are available in all rooms. Cold feet we do not even allow, because all rooms have underfloor heating!

Also, for a perfect catering everything is prepared: The modern kitchen has all the necessary kitchen appliances. Whether you prefer to make your coffee in the morning with the capsule machine from DeLonghi or in the original way with the filter machine, you can decide for yourself!

The apartment has two bedrooms. Both are equipped with a double bed, a closet, alarm clock and radio and full-length mirror. In one of the bedrooms you will also find a safe in the closet as well as an additional TV.

The apartment has two bathrooms. One of them is located next to one of the bedrooms. Both bathrooms are equipped with towel dryers. The modern showers are at ground level! The bathroom which is attached to one of the bedrooms has a large rain shower head in addition to the normal shower head.

In good weather you can sit comfortably on the circular balcony. Balcony furniture as well as sun loungers are available. A large parasol provides enough shade. In the open-plan living room you will find a cozy sitting area with sofa bed, an armchair, flat-screen TV, as well as a rustic dining table where you can sit together comfortably. The floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the furnished terrace and garden, where you can start your day in the morning or enjoy the last rays of sunshine in the evening.

The modern kitchenette is open to the living room and fully equipped. The space
Hintergraseck is an idyllic farmstead consisting of three houses and side buildings on the south side of the Wamberger ridge. This separates the busy Loisachtal in the north from the Wettersteinmountains in the south. The melting waters of the Zugspitze glacier have created the world famous Partnachgorge. The apartment is in a newly built house in 2010 and was completely renovated in 2016. It has:
