It’s part of the hotel, but it’s a private condo within the hotel building. You can still use the sauna and swimming pool that are part of the hotel, but anything else is an additional charge (I.e. breakfast). Also, it’s a couple thousand feet up the side of the mountain from Interlaken. You can use the bus for free, take a fenicular up/down then take a bus, or drive to Interlaken. We would drive down, park our car in town, then take our bikes all around to Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen."

- "Sometimes the pictures on the site aren't accuate. These pics don't begin to describe the views! You can see mountains for miles and miles! The 30 min bus ride to the house can seem daunting at the end of a long day, but the bus is easy to figure out and the bus stop is just a 3-5 min walk to the house. The area is very peaceful and quiet. We can hear goats and their bells! The beds are a very firm mattress, which I loved. The kitchen was tiny but we didn't cook, we brought premade food from the grocery store. I would absolutely come back to this house."

Sometimes there is a power outage. There could be two reasons for this:
1. In the mountains it can occur in storm and snowfall

2. In the studio you may not simultaneously turn on and need additional heaters both in the bathroom and in the living room, microwave, hair dryer, all lights and the stove! In this case, contact the landlord. Toggle switch is located in the upper apartment.

The chalet is very quiet thanks to a longer staircase (206 steps) that leads away from the street.
A wonderful view of the mountains and the lake awaits you.
An excursion box, satellite TV,CD player, radio, and garden furniture are at your disposal.
Since the neighborhood is very quiet, the accommodation is suitable for people who appreciate tranquility. Not suitable for loud people, not suitable for parties! No wifi.

The rustic 3-room apartment is located on a small farm above Lake Thun, in the idyllic mountain village of Beatenberg with breathtaking views of the highest Bernese Alps Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
The apartment is located 12 km from Interlaken.

Around the house is located in Klara's petting zoo with dwarf goats, rabbits and chickens.
Children are welcome with the animals. Groceries are available in the village shop, 10 minutes away. In the immediate vicinity are the restaurant Gloria or Dorinth.

Other things to note
Since the house was built in the traditional chalet style, there is no central heating or oil heating. During your stay it is your task (especially in winter, spring and autumn) to heat the apartment with the Tiba stove in the kitchen. My grandmother is more than happy to show you if you haven't had an experience with it yet.

Our house is very quiet, below the main road and is accessible by a staircase.
The bus leaves from Interlaken West train station every 30 minutes. The journey takes 25 minutes. From the bus stop it is 260 m (5 min.), then 127 steps down, away from the road.
A private parking lot is available for our guests, about 100 meters from the stairs.

The studio with private entrance is about 45 m² and has a

Beatenberg is a mountain village, so the views are spectacular! BUT: the road is correspondingly curvy and the drive from Interlaken takes about 20 minutes and it is possible that there is still snow in March or April.
Many houses (like ours) are located here on a slope, off the road. This guarantees privacy, wonderful tranquility and views! BUT: Access is via a long staircase and you cannot drive up to the house by car.

The bus stop is on the doorstep, so the cable car and ski slopes are just a few minutes away by car.

The rustic 4-room apartment is located on a small farm above Lake Thun, in the idyllic mountain village of Beatenberg, with breathtaking views of the Bernese Alps Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The apartment is located 12 km from Interlaken. Ideal for hiking lovers, bikers and any adventure lovers or just make a vacation. In winter you can go hiking, cross-country skiing, skiing and sledding. Chalet Charm is included as the entire apartment is heated with wood.

The space
Around the house is located in Klara's petting zoo with dwarf goats, rabbits and chickens.
Children are welcome with the animals. Groceries are available in the village shop, 10 minutes away. In the immediate vicinity are the restaurant Gloria or Dorinth.

Other things to note
Since the house was built in the traditional chalet style, it has no central heating or oil heating. During your stay it is your task (especially winter, spring and autumn) to heat the apartment with the designated Tiba oven in the kitchen or with the Swedish oven in the living room. My grandmother will be happy to show you if you have not had any experience with it.
