The modern furniture is not only handsome but also comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and the grocery is very nearby. What you should know...



Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 14-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station, which is recommended when you arrive with luggage.

- "The house is a short 5-15 minute walk from the train station (depending on your mobility and the route you take, the stairs by a highly mobile person being 5 minutes and the road by a less mobile person being closer to 10-15 minutes). There are also bakeries and grocery stores right by the same station so everything is super accessible. The train and/or gondola (another 3 minutes from the train) get you absolutely anywhere in the valley. The house itself is nearly brand new and laid out AMAZING for groups with a bathroom for every room and a view from 3 of the 4 rooms. The view cannot be matched, absolutely breathtaking. Really can't recommend the house enough! All the amenities you need with high quality finishes, great location, and amazing view."
