The host was most helpful on arrival and made arrangements for an early departure on the last morning very easy. I found the location was very good. With a bus stop immediately ouside the apartment building, it was very easy to get into Saas-Fee without the hassle of parking (and cost) and as far up the valley to Mattmark. All the valley lifts and walking trails were very accessible from here."

The new house is part of a building project and is quietly but centrally located with unobstructed views of the imposing Mischabel chain of Saas-Fee. Guests have their own small wellness area with a jacuzzi on the terrace and a modern sauna in the living room area. Here you will find the necessary relaxation after a strenuous day of skiing or hiking.
The apartment is particularly suitable for guests who appreciate comfort and are looking for a relaxing vacation in Saas-Grund. It is spacious and modernly furnished, with a large balcony and magnificent panoramic views.
The Saas-Grund ski resort can be reached in a 5-minute walk. The bus station (Unter dem Berg) with direct connection to Visp or Saas-Fee is 2 minutes away. If you arrive with your own car, there are two private parking spaces available.

The new kitchen is fully equipped: fondue set, raclette oven, coffee maker (fully automatic with beans), kettle, slicer, pizza grill, toaster, etc.
The living room faces south, with unobstructed views of the Mischabel chain. This is also where you will find the extendable sauna for a maximum of 6 people. As a special extra, there is a small hot tub on the second terrace for exclusive use.
Four bedrooms with box-spring double beds can accommodate a maximum of 8 people. Built-in closets offer enough storage space.
There are three bathrooms, one with a bathtub, 2 with a shower. Shampoo, shower gel and soap are provided.
In addition, we have a ski room with lockable ski cabinets in the house. A washing machine and dryer are also available.

The apartment is on the ground floor. You can travel to the front door by car.
The Zenlauinen studio, located at the village exit of Saas-Grund in the hamlet of Zenlauinen (direct Postbus connections to the Saas-Fee and Saas-Grund ski resorts 150 m away), is accessible by public transport from Visp, is a 10-minute walk from the center of Saas-Grund and offers a warm and cozy furnished living room and bedroom. Ideal for couples, small families, winter enthusiasts, hikers and mountain lovers. Price includes tourist taxes and the Saastal Card.
The space
The studio has a connected living, dining and sleeping area with separate toilet/shower. A spacious balcony overlooking forests and mountains invites you to linger. A small table with chairs is available on the balcony.
The studio has a small but well-equipped kitchen including many spices, oil, vinegar and coffee (including Bialetti coffee maker in 2 sizes). If a spice or similar runs out, we ask guests to replace it.
There is also a raclette oven, fondue caquelon incl. cutlery and thermos bottles for hikes.
The studio is privately used by our family. Games, crayons and paper can be used by our guests.
Families of four can use the studio. The sofa can be pulled out as an additional sleeping space.

In addition to the studio, a (non-heated) ski storage room is available for guest use.
Other things to note
The electronic Saastal cards for guests will be delivered by separate mail. The cards are valid if they are presented on a smartphone or printed out. The Saastal Card offers free travel by PostBus and most mountain railways in the Saastal in summer/autumn. Further information is available on the Saas-Fee website.

The ski bus runs from 12/21/2024 to 04/27/2025. In the period from 11/01 to 12/21/24, shuttle buses run on weekends from the Saas-Fee bus terminal to the Alpin Express valley station.

House Alcazar is centrally located yet quiet area in the heart of Saas-Grund. The Hohsaas cable cars, various restaurants, bakery, sports shops, Bancomat and the bus stop are in the radius of 50 - 200 m. With the guest card, the Postbus is included all year round and in summer you can use a large part of the cable cars in the Saas Valley for free!
