- "Everything was clean and as expected. It is an old hotel, and nothing like a new hotel experience. Just the basics in a beautiful area." - "Great place to stay . I would definitely stay again although I was displeased with their lack of knowledge regarding hotels.com. I reserved this room for my daughter a break(she has a mentally handicapped child and was in need of a break). I paid as I usually do when I reserve the room. When my daughter checked in, the payment at time of reservation, could not be acknowledged by the staff. I had to give a credit/debit card for incidentals which is customary and was assured that I would not be charged. Staff stated they were new to hotels.com but she would get straight. After my daughter checked out and got home, I checked my banking account. The amount of the room was charged again to the debit card that I gave her for incidentals. I called the motel and spoke with Katie. I told her the issue…..she assured me she would look into this and return my call the next day. I never received a call. I had to again call the motel. They never acknowledged their mistake instead saying oh, it was customary and that this was not a real charge. It should be returned to my account within seven days. If it wasn’t a real charge, it wouldn’t be listed on my account as a charge. I’m hoping I get the money back. "
