They did have several prepackaged food items such as snacks, breakfast bars, oatmeal, etc which was greatly appreciated as the resort is a little ways out of town. We never could quite get the shower water temperature to stay the same, but no deduction in stars for this as it was a minor inconvenience for such a wonderful place!"

I reserved this room for my daughter a break(she has a mentally handicapped child and was in need of a break). I paid as I usually do when I reserve the room. I had to give a credit/debit card for incidentals which is customary and was assured that I would not be charged. Staff stated they were new to hotels.com but she would get straight. After my daughter checked out and got home, I checked my banking account. The amount of the room was charged again to the debit card that I gave her for incidentals. I called the motel and spoke with Katie. I told her the issue…..she assured me she would look into this and return my call the next day. I never received a call. I had to again call the motel. They never acknowledged their mistake instead saying oh, it was customary and that this was not a real charge. It should be returned to my account within seven days. If it wasn’t a real charge, it wouldn’t be listed on my account as a charge. I’m hoping I get the money back. "

The only 2 recommendations would to have a small table in between the 2 chairs indoors so you could sit and put a drink or book on the table. The other recommendation would to have an earlier breakfast option in the restaurant. We are early risers and wanted to start early for a long hike and the only option was to eat in our room. Even doing that the earliest we could eat was 8:30am. It woyld have been nice to eat in tbe restaurant at 8am. "
