Cozy custom built home with 2 private bedroom and a full private bath for rent. If a second bedroom is needed, use pricing listed above or send inquiry. This is David's full time retirement home and he lives her full time. The home is surrounded by forest & wildlife also close to dining & shopping. If weather is bad, one car can park in the two car garage in the basement. Great tasting pure mountain well water. House has master water filter, backup generator, security motion lighting on all four outside corners of the house. WIFI connection, laundry and iron, full kitchen, 60" HD tv linked to the Internet only.

Several of the best known mapping systems will sometimes direct guests to back rural roads as shortcuts to my home. Please be advised to stay on major highway (441) until you reach Wofford Valley Road and then follow GPS system from that point forward. No Unregistered guest(s). Our County limits our guests to 4, perhaps 5 with a child so additional guests will not be permitted. Quiet after 10pm & no parties or events. No smoking in the apartment, but it is allowed on the porch. Remember check-out time is 10 AM. Dogs should not be left alone in Apt. without being kenneled (we can provide one if needed)

Welcome to our tiny house located on five wooded acres in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Our tiny house includes a single queen bed, with kitchen, bathroom and all the amenities you'd expect at home. Large windows offer wonderful views of the surrounding woods and fill the home with light. The property includes picnic table, fire pit, and walking trails plus tons of recreation and activities nearby. Located less than 15 minutes from downtown Dahlonega.

The space
We love the outdoors and all the recreation that North Georgia has to offer. Our property is in a great location to enjoy the outdoors while being close enough to get to other places if you like to explore. The tiny house is a great home base to explore from whether your looking to hike, bike, fish, raft, tour a winery or check out the town of Dahlonega (see below for more specifics). To encourage being outside and socializing the space has no TV.

Hosts come and go but will usually be onsite. Guests will have access to all the spaces, and have private use of the tiny house. We will be around various areas of the property doing trail maintenance, small outdoor projects and enjoying the property ourselves. We welcome interactions with guests but will respect your privacy.

Guest access
Guest will have access to enjoy the entire property (excluding RV, sheds and storage buildings). It is heavily wooded which creates great privacy in the summer and a real sense of being 'away from it all'. We are usually staying in the Airstream further up the driveway, working outside or relaxing in the host cabin up the hill.

Other things to note
Rainy weather is common in the area and may impact your enjoyment of all the outdoor amenities we offer. Please plan accordingly and consider indoor activities if inclement weather.

The space
Property on flat ground. I have backup generator in case we lose power for some reason! Plenty of space in full kitchen with dishwasher. Lots of storage, master bedroom large and comfortable, smart tv mounted to wall with movable bracket, just all around comfortable and convenient! Deck is spacious, fenced in back yard, privacy fence on fire pit and picnic area, I do have chicken’s in back of property fenced in and hidden from view. We have 2 very friendly dogs, Luna is a female Australia Shepherd, Buster is a neutered male Lab. If need be we can keep them separated from guests at your request.

Easy access, can park right at entrance to apartment for easy unloading and loading. There is a second parking area just above with comfortable stairs coming down to front door! Not a lot of traffic other than neighbors, school bus and mail truck!

My place is close to Smoky Mountains, Helen, Tallulah Gorge, waterfalls, hiking trails, mountain lakes, hour from Atlanta, parks, great views, restaurants, art and culture. World class trout fishing just 20 minutes away, where I caught my 10 lb., 26" one! I welcome couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Popular hiking trails and waterfalls are just 3 miles away. Handicapped accessible, including shower. TV with dozens of DVD movies, no cable or satellite.

The space
Roomy and clean, a great place to wake up in, and come home to after a long day of exploring. Bon fire pit outside with wood provided. Gas grill on the deck.

Access the whole house, including the two nice size closets. Enjoy a nice walk down the dirt/gravel road that brings you to my house.
