First, I was bothered by the fact that I had no secondary lock inside the room to guarantee safety. No safety chain, nothing. Only an inside door separating from her space. I immediately noticed how hot the room was, and, immediately ask for the air to be lowered. There was no AC return in the room. It was miserable. GA is hot and humid!!!!! Communication with the owner was no issue. However, the fact that I had no control over a thermostat, which resulted in a room staying average of 85°, isn’t okay. I had to open the french doors (only entryway, no screen) in the middle of the night to be somewhat comfortable. Why? Because I had no flat sheet to cover up with. Only a comforter! After NUMEROUS written request for her to lower the AC, her response was, “It gets too cold upstairs. Shared thermostat life, sorry!” After the next response of me begging for a fan or lower AC, she tells me to “use ceiling fan.” Had to buy my own toilet paper, coffee pot didn’t work properly, and I won’t even start with the cosmetics. VRBO did nothing to “make this right” and this was officially the LAST TIME I give them any business. By the way, while VRBO did their “research”, the listing was removed."

Enjoy a peaceful, rustic home stay in a quiet neighborhood just 50 minutes from the Atlanta airport. Comfortable room with a nice queen bed and your own bathroom just two steps down the hall. Look for deer in the backyard while sitting in a rocking chair on the front porch. You will be hosted by my eccentric parents, Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Dean along with the gregarious cat, Mystery, and energetic puppy, Emma. They all love visitors. There may be other guests in other levels of the house.

For added comfort, your room is equipped with its own refrigerator, microwave, and air conditioning unit. It also has a portable heater should you require one. 'Additionally, your room is only a few steps away from the guest bathroom and less than 10 minutes away from I20, the gas station, restaurants, shopping centers, and Walmart.

The room has a personal air conditioning unit to keep you as cool as you like along with 2 comfy full-size beds, 2 twin-size beds with two additional twin-size air mattresses should you need them. It also has a roll up secretary's desk, a bookshelf with a ROKU television, fresh sheets, blankets and towels and enough drawer and closet space for you to store your personal belongings.

Guest may or may not be offered a key, depending on the length of stay however, guest will have unlimited access in and out of the property at any time, day or night.

And guest has access to all the common areas of the home. *The bar area is reserved for events only.

During your stay
I live on the property, oftentimes cooking for my guest, especially on Sundays but I spend a lot of time in my private quarters so you may not see much of me. However, if you need me, I am only a phone call away. Call me anytime, day or night.

Other things to note
ANIMALS ARE WELCOME. Small and Medium non-aggressive house-trained pets with current vaccine shot records are welcomed as I LOVE pets; however, there will be a $100 service fee for dogs that are not crated or that urine/defecates on the wood floors, carpet or furniture, and guest are expected to clean up after their pets. A violation of this rule may be subject to a $300 penalty at the host's discretion.

If your animal attacks me, another guest, or my pet Chloe, there will be a $1,000 fee in addition to any medical fees that may arise. NO EXCEPTIONS.

*Current vaccines or shots means the animal has been treated by an animal doctor and received the Core vaccines including but not limited to rabies, within the past 12 months from the time of booking.

Like people, pets need vaccines. And pet vaccinations, like those for humans, may sometimes require a booster to keep them effective. The best way to stay on schedule with vaccinations for your dog or cat is to follow the recommendations of a veterinarian

Pet crates are welcomed and encouraged but not required.

If your pet bites me or attacks my fur baby, legal fees may arise.
