- "I am obsessed with the property and the bus! My husband and I stayed for a night with our three toddlers while taking a night off from section hiking the AT. We all slept in the king bed in the back which was INSANELY comfortable. The hosts are a super sweet little family. Our laundry was done for a small fee very quickly. Communication with the hosts was excellent. They provided so much helpful information on local places to visit for after our hike. The communal glamping bathroom was the nicest bathroom I’ve ever seen at a campsite. A toilet is inside the bus only to be used during bad weather or at night for guest convenience. The property is green and gorgeous, has a little creek on it. There is a grill under a gazebo and the hosts provide propane at no additional cost. We were able to grill hot dogs. The kids LOVED the bus. Also the main house where you check in is STOCKED with little snacks, ice cream, food you can heat up, and other little conveniences available for purchase. All the other structures on the property are adorable! For us the only potential issue was that the door locks on the inside, but unlocks easily with turning the knob. Totally fine if you have older kids or adults. If you have crazy toddlers there’s a potential escape hazard there. But we just barricaded the way out with our bags so it was fine. I would stay there every night if we could! I hope we get to stay again. "

Enjoy the beauty of the Smoky Mountains from this 2019 constructed one bedroom, 3-bathroom open concept log cabin. With 2 gas fireplaces, wrap around porch, and panoramic long range mountain views, you can revel in the great outdoors without stepping outside. There are no steps to climb for easy access and unloading! You’ll be just 25 minutes from Bryson City, so you can enjoy both peace and quiet and proximity to the attractions of town.

The log cabin is at 4,000 feet elevation in a private gated community. You will appreciate the casual charm of the cabin’s large interior with tongue-in-groove walls and ceiling with beams and engineered hardwood flooring throughout except the three bathrooms which are tiled.

Upstairs there are two flat screen HDTV's with YouTube TV. The living room is a 65" Smart TV with access to Netflix, Apple TV, Prime Video and YouTube. Limited cell coverage on the drive-up the mountain but we have WIFI and our Verizon cell phones normally work well at the cabin. There is a WIFI landline and phone in cabin for emergency service.

Downstairs there is another flat screen HDTV, 14-foot shuffleboard table, dart board, wall hanging connect four and many games and puzzles with a game table. Also, a coffee/wine bar and another full bathroom with custom walk-in tile shower and granite countertop. There are also 2 bedrooms that will be locked.

The master bedroom features a king-sized log frame and new mattress, matching log chest, and two log end tables with lamps. Off of the master bedroom is a full bathroom with a large tiled shower that is open to the beamed ceiling. The master bathroom also has dual vanities.

The second bathroom upstairs has a tub and shower. Large single vanity and laundry room with new washer and dryer. Plenty of storage for the utmost convenience.

A new Hot Tub and Porch Swing for two below the deck for privacy where you can enjoy the long-range mountain views. The stars are unbelievably gorgeous on a clear night. Beside the hot tub is a picnic table for casual dining and relaxing.

Elk Ridge Summit is located in the prestigious gated community - Alarka Highlands about 25 minutes from Bryson City. For entertaining there is a community Pavilion with a large stone fireplace. Several hiking trails to enjoy the beauty of the mountains. The drive is steep. A 4WD vehicle is recommended for winter or bad weather travel. No refunds for bad weather, however, we will credit you for a future stay if possible. The address cannot be found on GPS. The driving app WAZE, will direct you to our road within the community.

Bryson City, Nantahala Outdoor Center, Fontana Lake, Harrah's Casino, Cherokee, Nantahala River Gorge (white water rafting), Tsali Biking, Fontana Lake, and an entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway/Smoky Mountains are all a quick scenic drive away. The Bryson City area is home to wonderful restaurants, breweries, the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, hiking, zip-lining, trout fishing, and canoeing. Maggie Valley is close for snow skiing. Many local small towns offer shopping and dining as well.

Situated in the middle of the Great Smoky Mountains, this cabin is the perfect place to get away from it all while still being close to the conveniences of town. The cabin itself sits at the top of a mountain, providing guests plenty of privacy and unobstructed panoramic views.

A short drive will take you to restaurants, shopping, museums, and historic attractions of Bryson City. Take the night off from cooking and check out the local fare in Bryson City. Enjoy a comforting meal at the historic Fryemont Inn (ask for Sarge at the bar) or Everett Street Diner, go for a margarita and Mexican favorites at Guayabitos Restaurant, or get a taste of the local craft beer at Mountain Layers Brewery, one of our favorite stops.

There’s no shortage of activities in the Great Smoky Mountains. Make the quick trip up to Deep Creek to hike up to a waterfall or set up shop by a fishing stream, while mountain bikers take advantage of the nearby trails. Also enjoy many hiking trails in the area, rafting, trout fishing, tubing, zip lines, Clingman’s Dome and other attractions. The Casino and Golf Course in Cherokee is only 50 minutes from the cabin. Only 1 hour to Asheville and nice drive to Gatlinburg.

- We have security cameras viewing the parking area and driveway entrance. One additional camera is located in the locked utility room on the lower level of the cabin. This room has the breaker box which may need to be accessed by guests and stores many of our personal items. All camera views are noted in the Cabin welcome book.

The Cabin includes a master bedroom with king size bed downstairs, and a loft with 2 queen size beds. All the comforts of home and then some. There is a completely remodeled kitchen with all Stainless appliances, gas stove, dishwasher, and even a heated tiled floor to keep those barefoot toes warm in the morning. It is all topped off with Oronoko Granite from Brazil.

Newly updated bathroom with new washer and dryer, all tile with heated floors and 2 person MTI Jacuzzi!

In the living area you will enjoy the beauty and warmth of a wood burning stove, large screen TV, DVD player and 100s of movies to choose from. Brazilian Teak graces the floors for a beautiful warm feeling. Sit and Enjoy the "G" Scale train as it runs around the cabin and even through the walls.

A note about pricing: VRBO keeps saying I should raise my rates, especially during peak seasons, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, e.t.c.
It has always irritated me that hotels e.t.c. do that. So if I want to enjoy my family during the holidays, I have to pay a premium???

I'm sorry, I think that's just wrong, so why would I do that to my guest? Prices are the same EVERY DAY of the year. If you want a holiday, summer dates, e.t.c. just book early before someone else does, and enjoy your family at the regular prices.

Bear Cove Circle is probably steeper and curvier than what you’re used to. Our driveway is steep with a sharp turn but paved and you do not need a 4 wheel drive vehicle. We ask our guests to exercise caution with snow and ice and make plans to wait for melting to occur. Consider this part of the charm of being in the mountains.

After tickets and snaks our family of four made it out of there for $50, WHAAA. I can't express enough how great our stay was. Our hosts communication with us was quick and kind. He gave us lots of helpful advise. I Highly recommend this place. It's right in town but you feel like your in the woods."

This cabin was built in 2019. There are two bedrooms with a king-sized bed and two full bathrooms with tub/showers. There is a queen-sized futon in the living area to accommodate up to 6 people. The cabin is in the woods on the other side of a horse pasture with another cabin 300 feet away-1852727. There are plenty of trees in between. This property is convenient to the Deep Creek area of the Smoky Mountain National Park and to the center of Bryson City. I also have a one bedroom/bathroom cabin in a another area of Bryson City :868611.

- "I can't say enough wonderful things about this property. It had everything we needed. We loved walking down the hill each day to visit with the horses at the base and feeding them carrots. It is very close to the Deep River trails for hiking and tubing. It is also very close to the Nantahala River where you can go zip lining and white water rafting. We enjoyed evening fires outdoors making s'mores and a dip in the hot tub to rest our sore muscles from the strenuous hikes. A true gem of a place."

Located right on Main Street in downtown Bryson City, the Hazel House was originally built in 1902 has been fully brought up to date with all modern comforts. Guests can sit on the porch and enjoy the view as well as walk to restaurants and shops and the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. The entire restoration is featured in a series by the Perkins Builder Brothers.

The Hazel House was originally built in 1902 has been fully brought up to date with all modern comforts. The Hazel House has two bedrooms each with a king size bed and private bathroom. The living room area is an open floor plan and the kitchen is fully stocked for cooking. We’ve stocked the Hazel House with board games and tried to think of every detail that will make your stay perfect. The loft has been transformed into a cozy reading area and workspace. In November and December, the house is fully decked out for Christmas and the Polar Express.

Every aspect of the Hazel House has a story behind it. Fully restored from its days when Bud and Hazel Jacks lived on Main Street and ran their jewelry store next door. There was once a door that connected the two. Reclaimed materials and eco-friendly products have been used throughout. All artifacts found on the property during excavation have been saved and displayed. We love the history of this home and its unique location right in the heart of town. There are two dedicated parking spaces located right behind the house so there is no need to find public parking downtown and in the winter there are no treacherous inclines to tackle. The parking area is well lit and very safe.

From the Hazel House you can walk right across the street to restaurant favorites like Jimmy Macs, Pasqualino’s, Everett Hotel Bistro or pick up food from the food truck and eat at the Bryson City Outdoors Taproom. You can walk to the nearby seasonal Friday farmers’ market for fresh produce from our local farmers, honey from our local beekeepers and crafts from local artisans. Walk along the river and put your feet in the cool water at nearby Island Park. Hop in the car and drive just 3 miles to the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

There is one small IGA grocery store within walking distance and a larger Ingles a few minutes away. We know you'll feel right at home. If you need something extra let us know!

The Tiny Tuck is a reference to the Tuckaseegee River. If you're familiar with our Eagle's Nest 775023 (2/2) and Eagle's Landing 749709 (2/2), then you are aware of the views on this mountain ridge. Well this little gem is a 400 sq ft tiny house. This is where Shannon and I lived while we built the other 2 cabins. Now that we've also built and moved into our dream home, we have the opportunity to share the Tiny Tuck with you! Although the views are very similar to the other 2 homes, on the right side of Fontana Lake, around the bend, it turns into the Tuckaseegee River that flows right through downtown Bryson City. Outside, you'll find a large spacious 470 sq ft deck with outdoor furniture and breathtaking views of the lake and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. There's also a charcoal grill and fire pit with firewood that can be purchased on the property. The outdoor space is perfect for kicking back, star gazing, and roasting marshmallows. On a clear night, you can see the Milky Way! Inside, you'll walk into a small great room with cathedral ceilings, a full chef's kitchen, and all the comforts of home. There's a 12x18 sq ft loft, a full bathroom with tub, and a queen size bedroom. Best of all, there are breathtaking views from every window.

There are no air fresheners, plug ins, scented candles, incense, commercial laundry soaps or fabric softeners. We wash all of the linens, shower curtains, bath mats etc. in house to insure they are cleaned without any toxic commercial soaps, stain removers, or bleach. We use non toxic cleaning supplies like Unscented Seventh Generation, BonAmi, BioKleen, peroxide, vinegar, and baking soda. This entire 12 acre property has NEVER been sprayed with pesticide. We are aware of how these toxic commercial fragrances have a burning effect on the nerves, can perpetuate a weakened immune system, deplete the nervous system, and cause several other chronic health symptoms. Rejoice in knowing that inside our homes and outside in the surrounding hundreds of acres of National Forest, clean air and oxygen are absorbed with every breath. The Tiny Tuck is located on 12 acres in Bryson City, NC. This land is bordered on 3 sides by 600 acres of the Nantahala National Forest, Fontana Lake, and the GSMNP. The house is exactly as described, just 15 min to town. The kitchen is well stocked, even had corn starch to thicken our sauce. Owner left firewood for the outdoor fire pit, but we did not get to use it. We loved sitting on the porch watching the sunsets and sunrises early in the morning, just an amazing view! Love all the honey touches in the house, you can tell the owners care. The gravel road up was no big deal with our SUV even after a rain. Beds and showers are fine. Lots of room to sit, and nice TV setup. Perfect for our small family. Would stay again."

The Yogi House at Nantahala Spiritual Retreat is a tiny home in nature in the Great Smoky Mountains. While the house is very small, it has all the amenities for a comfortable stay. A 10 x 12 deck in front of the house has plenty of room for yoga, relaxation, meditation, reading and writing, while listening to the sounds of the nearby creek. While there is no internet at the house, there is internet a short walk away, as well as 4G available at the top of the mountain on the 22 acres of NSR.

This quaint small Deep Creek Apartment located within 1 Mile of the town of Bryson City and its a little over 1 mile from the Deep Creek & Nat Park area. A nice Rec Park is just a 1/4 mile walk from apartment.

Apartment #3 sleeps 3 guests comfortably. The small bedroom has a full bed and there is a twin daybed with a trundle bed in the living room. Has full kitchen with basic cooking utensils and Full Bathroom with a Shower.

The space
I pretty much made all the furniture in the apartment. I also matted and framed all the old ads on the walls. Some of them are really neat and most came from from 40s - 60s Life Magazines and 1970s Rolling Stone Magazines.

Our Hwy Stop on 74 is one of two apts designed for convenience and pleasure. We are right on Hwy 74 between the NOC and Bryson City. Our cozy apartment of 525 sq feet makes for a great get-a-way weekend or a weeks vacation. The rustic handcrafted touches of our apartment gives it a unique look like no other. Parking is on same level as entry to unit.

Step inside, and you will find an adorable rustic tiny home cabin featuring all bright wood interior to give you the true cabin feeling.
Our cabin features a well-equipped kitchen with a coffee bar, one bedroom (double bed), one bathroom, and a living area. Snuggle up on the love seat dual reclining sofa or in bed to watch your favorite TV show/movie after a long day of exploring all our beautiful little town has to offer. There's an outdoor, cold water shower to rinse off with after exploring and hiking. Outside, indulge in a cup of coffee or your favorite drink while sitting under the large covered porch with mountain views. Enjoy relaxing at the outdoor fire pit (We do not provide firewood) gazing at the stars! This tiny cabin is sure not to disappoint!

This is an adorable unique space. Call it a bungalow, log cabin, tiny home(not on wheels),or a cozy cottage.
It was originally built for the care taker of the farm houses on the property. It has been restored nicely with lots of charm.
The home has a large couch and queen bed in living area. The loft has a ladder to climb up which has a queen bed and twin bed(great for older kids!).
The outside has firepit,grill,seating, beautiful lighting and right near creek with picnic tables

This is a very Cozy and super adorable cabin. In a serene setting near the creek. Less than 5 minutes from town and the train. only a street away from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park 20 minutes to cherokee and 20 minutes to white water rafting.
Main living area has kitchen, bathroom, shower room and Queen bed in living room area..the loft has a queen bed and twin bed. * must climb ladder to get to loft.. loft is great for older kids!

Unit#2 sleeps 6. 2 Bedrooms one with a King Bed, one with a full bed, and a twin daybed w/twin trundle bed below in the LR. 2 Full Baths. Unit#2 has a washer/dryer, full kitchen, basic cooking utensils, and dishwasher.

Apt. has 2 "covered" parking spaces under a metal carport and one additional space.

The space
Completely private, with 2-3 parking spaces. Private Back Deck and access to large flat yard and front porch with rocking chairs. Perfect location on Deep Creek where if you turn right out of the driveway the National Park with tubing and waterfalls is roughly a mile and if you turn left the the train depot and town of Bryson City is less than a mile. Additionally, the local rec center with a pool, playground, and walking trails is a couple hundred yards away.

Unit has a private back deck for guests in this unit only and guests will have access to the large yard and front porch. Unit has 2 parking spaces with a 3rd available upon request.

Other things to note
The creek is just about 30 or 40 yards behind the apartments. Unfortunately I don't own the small slice of land between my property and the creek so I don't have creek access from the apartments. Most days you can hear the creek running.

There, you'll find incredible stainless steel appliances, including a French door fridge, dishwasher, Keurig and regular coffee makers, microwave, and more! The kitchen includes a convenient dining table in case it's too chilly to dine outdoors.

Once mealtime is over, bring your favorite blanket over to the living room and snuggle up on the sofa or recliner to watch your favorite shows on the TV with cable.
