- "Super " - "Great rooms and friendly staff" - "An ideal town centre location for a one night stay. We had two rooms, one standard and one executive and really there was little to choose between them, other than a little more space. Our rooms were on the second floor and it meant a two flight walk up, I'm not sure that there is a lift, perhaps in the other wing, so worth checking if stairs are an issue. Both had good shower rooms and we all slept well. A buffet breakfast was on offer and the receptionist offered to cook a choice of eggs for us all. This hotel used to have a notable restaurant but a change of ownership (and Covid) means that there is no longer an evening meal option. The hotel seemed very quiet for a Friday evening but it was mid March. The hotel has a private car park about 200m away but it looked more secure parking on the street directly in front of the hotel. We would be happy to stay again. "
