Our room had a balcony that overlooked the pool, canal and marina. Parking is readily available right outside the hotel door. The staff at the front desk spoke English so communication was easy. From the outside it looks old fashioned a not very welcoming, and has a weird mix of dated furniture and modern decor, yet the bed was super comfy, the róom was spotless, and there was ample contintental food for breakfast. I would stay again if passing through. One downside. I walked to lovely beach front and ordered taxi back to hotel. A distance of just over 1km cost 15 euros! She kept mentioning that they don't receive a lot of booking through hotels.com so it is obvious that it is her not knowing how to use the hotels.com system. Luckily a while later she told us that she was able to speak to someone at hotels.com to have it resolved. She was trying to be helpful and it was obviously a case of incompetence on her end, but we thought that if you are going to take bookings via hotels.com, it is better that the hotel train their staff better on these procedures.
