The room was massive, and our only complaint was a lack of air conditioning, and as we found in all of the hotels we stayed at in Ireland the bedding only has a duvet. As our room was on the sunny side of the hotel the room was quite warm and the windows only opened 7" or so. We were able to get a fan which helped, and used the flat sheet from one of the other beds to sleep under intead of the duvet. So I would recommend getting a room on the ocean view side if you are staying there in the summer months. The town of Enniscrone is wonderful and worth a visit in itself. We walked for hours discovering new and interesting things along the way. As was the case in all of Ireland, the people were kind and gracious. "

- "We had a lovely stay at the ocean sands hotel. We're a family of five and the kids really enjoy they're stay, we only stayed one night but would of loved to stay longer. Location is gorgeous, hotel is right next to the beach so excellent for little ones. Had dinner in the restaurant which was stunning, prices were great for the quality of food we were served. My only negative is that our room was fairly cold when we arrived but it warmed up quick enough once we put on the heaters. Lovely hotel staff in all areas. Id definitely recommend a stay here."
