Pudding Row Cafe (Cafe of the year in 2018) is a 10 min drive away in Easkey while Jack Fenn, Cafe of the Year for 2019 is at Belleek Castle in Ballina. This house is the perfect base for exploring all that Sligo and Mayo has to offer, from fantastic walks to the Great Western Greenway cycle route. Head to Lough Key Forest Park for a great family day out or go horse riding with Iceford Stables. There are spas at Mount Falcon and the Ice House close by and the Kilcullen Seaweed baths is just a couple of minutes walk away for a more traditional approach to relaxation.

For golfers Enniscrone is ideal for playing some of the best links courses Ireland has to offer at Carne, Co. Sligo and Strandhill. From the house you overlook Enniscrone’s championship Dunes course. There are also several very fine parkland courses within an hour's drive, including Westport and Castle Dargan.

Kids and adults alike will love learning to surf on Enniscrone's safe beach where two excellent surf schools operate. Those looking for more challenging seas can travel the short distance to Easkey with its legendary waves. If SUP boarding is your thing a SUP school operates from the pier, a couple of minutes walk from the house. Pier fishing or beach fishing are also available.

The house is very well equipped for self catering, but as you are on your holidays take advantage of the excellent dining opportunities on your doorstep. The local pubs - The Pilot Bar and Gilroys do great pub food. The restaurants at Gilroys (Ait Eile) and the Waterfront offer excellent food with views to match. Hopkins Bar is a great place for a quiet pint. The ice creams at Gelatti and Milos are delicious and the local convenience stores are well stocked and a short walk to Enniscrone's main street.

Nearby you can visit the Ceide Fields, the oldest known field systems in the world, over five and a half millennia old. There is an excellent visitor centre and daily tours. The Museum of Country Life near Castlebar is also well worth the 45min journey. Strandhill makes another good day out with a walk to the top of Knocknarea where you can visit the grave of Queen Meave and reward yourself with a lunch in Shell's Cafe or Mammy Johnsons. There are some great hill walking opportunities locally and you will find loads of information on sligowalks.ie or mayowalks.ie. The Carrowteige walk in North Mayo and the Glencar walk in Sligo are highly recommended.

Enniscrone is famous for its surfing and is also only a 40 minute drive to Strandhill, another surfing location. The house has just gone through a full renovation with a fabulous balcony and wood burning stove for Autumn and Winter nights listening to the waves. 75 " smart tv with Netflix and soundbar to allow spectacular nights in by the fire.

Right in the centre of activity only seconds away from the beach and amenities.

Beautiful uninterrupted views of Enniscrone beach framed by the Atlantic ocean by three metre high windows opening onto a brand new deck.

The house does have fast broadband so perfect for anyone wanting to work remotely. Pubs and restaurants are a few minutes walk away.

The house includes all amenities and in addition there is are two adult bikes and two kids bikes on the property for guest use together with body boards, spades and buckets.

In high season as Oceans Edge is right in the centre of Enniscrone village you will get noise from the village. However as the bedrooms are downstairs they are insulated from this.

We have designed this house to make it ideally suited for our holidays. It has a open plan kitchen/Diner area for entertaining and a seperate TV room (with a digitial library of movies). A decent shower with hot water on demand. A warm outdoor shower for washing off when returning from the beach which is a 6 min walk away and gas central heating. Although the exterior of the house isn't that inspiring the location is great for walking to the high street, village pool and pubs.

Seaview is very central to all amenities and all are within 3 - 5 minute walk - Shops, Bars, Restaurants, Swimming Pool Complex, Beach Promenade, Seaweed Baths and much more. The famous Enniscrone Golf Links is only 5 Minute Drive away. Ocean View is very spacious and well laid out and a warm house in every way. Outside shed for wet gear and surf boards and any other gear. South Facing garden with sun all day long with good outdoor seating. Parking for two cars on property.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this recently renovated house in the coastal village of Enniscrone with an unbeatable central location. The beach is metres from the house, as is the playground, amusements, Surf’s Up Cafe, Off Shore and Pitch n Putt. The Ocean Sands and Diamond Coast hotels plus Enniscrone Golf Club are within walking distance. Shops, pharmacy, church, seaweed baths, the Pier, takeaways, local pubs- B.Hopkins, Pilot Bar,Gilroys - are also a stroll away!

The space
Our house has four upstairs bedrooms, a dressing room and family bathroom. The main bedroom has a king size bed and both the beach and pier can be seen if you wish to check the tide.
Bedroom two has a small double bed and single bed. Bedroom three has two single beds, and the fourth bedroom is a double bed.
There is an additional WC under the stairs and a further shower / WC off the utility room downstairs.
The outdoor shower also runs hot water to defrost and de-sand you after a dip in the sea.

Downstairs
A fully equipped kitchen and dining table with seating for six guests. Sofa seating for six around the stove and television. A utility room and shower / WC are off the main living area. There is an additional tv snug off the main living area.

The property may be accessed to the front and rear.

The outdoor space is a lovely bright little sun trap when the sun decides to shine. We have some beach essentials also at the property.

PLEASE NOTE: as this is a town centre property parking for two cars maximum. There is a free car park across the road by the beach.

Please note that whilst we can technically sleep more than seven guests to maintain maximum comfort levels no more than seven may be added to a booking. We have table and sofa seating for six only. Requests for additional guests will be declined.
