My place is close to the historic city centre of Medieval Kilkenny, the castle and its park, nice walks, wonderful restaurants and equally good pubs. You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, and the people. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
The key attraction about this accomodation is that it is only 8 mins walk from the town centre, about 5 minutes from the bus stop and not more than 15 mins walk from the local train station.

Easy to reach with gps guidance, free parking. Walking distance to shops and sites. A quiet neighbourhood in a very good location, while to the back there is an open green field, 8 minutes walk and you are in the heart of the city.
You will have your own private room which is essentially a bedroom with a 4 foot double bed, an en-suite, a kitchenette (no cooker, just a microwave), also a TV and a sofa.
I tried to make it like a hotel room with tea/coffee making facilities but I went a little further and put in a kitchenette so you could do breakfast, snacks and light lunches and thereby cut back on eating out and unnecessary expense!

Kilkenny is a vibrant place to visit with lots of old churches and shops, pubs and restaurants. Lovely cosy cafes and typical Irish charm. The cat laughs comedy festival is on during early june, and arts week starts during the middle of August each year making it a nice time to vist Kilkenny, Kilkenny is famous for its National sport of Hurling and we are the 'Brazil' of hurling with countless all Ireland honours. Kilkenny also has a great equestrian tradition with the famous' Warrington' Horse Riding stables on the edge of our city providing Treks and Lessons to all who are interested.

Our home is in a central area to everything 5 minutes walk to the hustle and bustle but yet in a quiet corner of the city. Kilkenny Castle is 5 minutes walk from our home. Scenic Kells Castle is 12 minute drive by car away and is a lovely place to visit something like a scene from a movie from 'Lord of the Rings' or 'Game of Thrones'
We have lovely neighbours friendly who we get along very well with and have respect for each other.

Kilkenny train station is a 12 minute walk away and Ormonde Road bus stop is a 2 minute walk around the corner. Taxis can be found nearly at every main point of our City.

Our house is in the heart of the City yet remains very private and quaint with a lovely open fire during the winter time .

Access through the red door at the side of the pub after you have checked in at the bar. There are 2 flights of stairs, the first is a straight stairs leading to the first landing ,the second stairs has a turn on it and the steps quiet steep , if you have a disability or are in the older age bracket, you may find these stairs difficult, please consider this carefully before you book, if you are in doubt about the stairs, my advice to you would be not to book.

Chalet No 4 is situ in an urban setting and a special part of our home space, adjacent to our family home, only a 3 min drive to Kilkenny City centre or a 15 -20 min walk. In truth you have it all as a short walk away from your resting place, is open countryside where safe walking /cycling paths exist. Great for country walks & hillside forest strolls, simply follow the signs for Jenkinstown. You’ll love my place bcos of the cosiness & the comfy bed. My place is good for couples & solo adventure

Experience a country-style escape in a detached bungalow in Kilkenny city. Large double room with a country decor and private bathroom and private kitchenette. Shared access to the TV room. We live opposite a park with a natural marsh park which is a delight to walk around. Kilkenny is a vibrant city with plenty of amenities nearby.

Our home is an L shaped bungalow where our family rooms are the opposite end of the Air B&B area. We are also away from road traffic. People say it's very quiet in the room and feel like they are in the countryside. The guest wing also has its own private bathroom and small kitchenette with a breakfast/coffee bar, mini fridge and light breakfast essentials. Shared access available to TV room and large kitchen with cooking facilities.

We are a 25min walk to the city or approx 7min drive depending on traffic. Buses come every 30 minutes to the bus stop which is 5min walk away. The bus takes you downtown in 10minutes. There is also Ubers and taxis on an app called Freenow. There is a taxi rank outside the Leftbank bar in town which can easily take you back to the house also.
