Our House is a lovingly recently renovated 1930's art deco house overlooking the ocean to the front and our orchard to the rear with newly planted woods flanking both sides. The rooms are large and revolve around a central octogonal hallway unusual in Ireland. The house is in a very quiet part of town yet only 3 minutes to the main street. There is ample parking, and the train station is a 10 minute walk. Coaches to dublin depart at the bottom of the road.

For shorter stays, I recommend a nearby self-service laundry located just behind Tesco in Wicklow Town. You can wash a large basket of clothes for just €6, and the price includes hypoallergenic, eco-friendly detergent and softener. It’s a professional machine, fast (only 15 minutes per cycle), and the place is open 24 hours.

If the weather is nice, I can provide a drying rack and pegs so you can hang clothes to dry at home. There are also dryers available at the same laundry.

No Recording Devices: The sensors installed at the two entrances of your house are not recording devices. They do not capture or store video footage under normal circumstances.

Activation Only During Alarms: These sensors only activate in the event of an alarm. If the alarm is triggered, the sensors will take five snapshots to help the police verify and respond to the situation promptly.

Police Access: Only the police can access these snapshots, and only in the case of a verified burglary, ensuring your privacy is maintained.

No Remote Access: It is not possible to access the sensors remotely for live viewing or photography, guaranteeing that your daily activities are not monitored.

We have a double downstairs bedroom with a private bathroom available for your stay. The bathroom is NOT en-suite & is located beside the kitchen.

The bed is a double, 4ft 6inches wide, suitable for 2 adults and if you are travelling with a child we also can supply a travel cot.

We live in a 3 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms, the house is very centrally located in Wicklow town.

This bedroom is downstairs and has a private bathroom, which is off the hall past the kitchen. The bathroom is not shared.

We have a travel cot for guests who are travelling with infants/toddlers.

Please note we have a second bedroom upstairs which also takes up to 2 guests and 1 child.
Our house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, this bedroom is downstairs and the bathroom is not shared. We also have a listing on AIRBNB for our upstairs room which has a shared bathroom with ourselves or occasionally with up to 2 other guests.




We are very centrally located to the town of Wicklow and we are very near the pier and Black Castle ruins.

It's a few minutes walk to the Bus Eireann bus stop 133 and 131 routes which have services to Dublin City & Bray.
There is also a local link bus to the national park area in Glendalough.

The Wexford Bus route runs from the Grand Hotel in Wicklow and buses run from there to Dublin Airport. The route is 740A. The bus stop for this bus is approx 10-15 minutes walk from our home.
The local train station is a 20-25 minute walk and trains depart to Dublin city and onto Belfast or you can take a train to Wexford. See Irish Rail website for details of times.

This is a direct service with no transfers required, and the average travel time is 1 hour and 21 minutes.

You will need to get off at the Grand Hotel in Wicklow Town, which is a 10-minute walk uphill. If you prefer not to walk, you can take either bus 133 or 131 from the Grand Hotel and get off at Ballyguile. It’s a 2-minute walk from my house.

Wicklow is a very pretty town just an hour from Dublin with good restaurants, music, cafes, wonderful walks along the coast or cliffs . It's a short drive (35 minutes) to Glendalough and the mountains or there is now a bus. Both Kilmacurragh and Mount Usher Gardens are just 15 minutes drive away.

The space
This comfortable ensuite double room is in a modern home set in a quiet and pretty cul de sac very close to the main street, the river walk and the stunning coast line. The accommodation has a most comfortable double bed and ensuite shower room (with an excellent shower!) A good breakfast made to meet any requirements is served in the home's kitchen with access to the sunny garden. Wifi is also available. The town, 25 miles south of Dublin, has many opportunities for good eating with cafes and restaurants, some specialising in local, homemade or even raw food. Great local walks along the cliffs, and a short drive away are forests, Glendalough and the Wicklow mountains. Boat trips, canoeing, golf, fishing. Good public transport to Dublin and many easy day trips by car to Wexford, Kilkenny, Kildare. Loads to do from here.

There are some interesting walks & Hiking trails within the Town and surrounding areas.
Nearby beaches such as Magheramore & Brittas Bay are short drive away. Visit the Avondale Forest Park which has the amazing above the trees walkway. Swimming, Sailing & Canoeing activities are carried out in Wicklow Harbour.

You can also visit Avondale Forest Park near Rathdrum which has the truly amazing above the trees walk.

The tiny house is fully self contained with its own entrance. It is a modern, open-plan property The space is located in our back garden, in a quiet, safe neighbourhood, making it ideal for single travellers.

We can set up an extra double airbed on request for an additional €15 euro fee per stay. We can accommodate a non mobile baby and we do have a travel cot but the space is not baby proofed. There are 7 steps in total to access the property.

Our property is located on the hilltop overlooking Wicklow town, with breathtaking views of the Irish Sea and Wicklow mountains. It is a short 10min stroll to Wicklow Town centre, harbour piers and lighthouse. Several beaches are within walking distance where locals and visitors sea swim all year round. There is also an amazing sea cliff walk close by where seals and dolphins can often be spotted. Wicklow Town is a bustling sea side town which serves as a great base for exploring all that the garden county of Ireland has to offer. Bus and rail transport accessible within the town

Our House is a lovingly recently renovated 1930's art deco house overlooking the ocean to the front and our orchard to the rear with newly planted woods flanking both sides. The rooms are large and revolve around a central octogonal hallway unusual in Ireland. The house is in a very quiet part of town yet only 3 minutes to the main street. There is ample parking, and the train station is a 10 minute walk. Coaches to dublin depart at the bottom of the road.

The house has a chilled out vibe.

Gorgeous array of small boutiques, award winning bookshop, incredible wine store and other lovely country style outlets.

Breakfast supplied for your first two mornings, to include Irish soda bread and a host of goodies. Free old fashioned Barrys AND Lyons tea, and Nespresso coffee throughout your stay, along with some soft drinks and maybe the odd pack of sneaky biscuits.

Two storey house is all yours to enjoy. Downstairs is the country style kitchen, with a log burning stove and oven. It's quirky, open plan and perfect for having the chats. The bathroom also has a two person sauna and power shower. There is a small outside space with seating and BBQ. Nice for both a morning coffee, catch a few rays peeping through and an evening glass of vino.

Upstairs, this is where the magic happens (MTV cribs reference for those old enough to remember!). A double bedroom with comfortable seating area overlooking the working port. Plenty of ambient lighting, perfect for a cosy night in practising the magic (!) or simply enjoying a good book.

Explore the rest of Wicklow (highly recommend the walking the Wicklow Way for truly spectacular world class scenery) or Dublin from your base in Wicklow Town and enjoy the amazing Irish pubs and food offerings and the great people.

Bond Street is a secluded little street with only a few houses , very little through traffic past 7 pm yet only a 2 minute walk into the town , beach and promenade.

An excellent location , you can enjoy live music , dinner and drinks from the bridge tavern and other local bars . A great location to access all the best places within the town.

More adventurous activities like cycling , kayaking , sea fishing charters are all available on a daily hire basis. The Wicklow Mountains and Glendalough are all within a short distance too .

Filming in the area is a regular occurrence with Wicklow town being a preferred area for local and international productions.
Excellent local bus and rail links to Dublin and surrounding counties .
