No21 is a 3 bedroom house in a friendly residential area on the edge of Bethesda.
Downstairs, a spacious, well equipped kitchen diner and a seperate lounge with TV with Amazon firestick, and inglenook fireplace with wood burner. Good sized hallway with washing machine and dishwasher
There is also a oak framed rustic sun lounge with sofa seating which gets very warm on a nice day. The house benefits from a decent sized garden mainly laid to lawn with shrub borders. While we like to retain many original features of our houses, you'll be glad to hear that No21 has gas central heating and fast broadband.
Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms all with double beds, plus the largest has an additional single bed. The living room also has a sofa bed.
There is a communal parking area right next to the house, but we want you to know, the house is situated on the edge of Bethesda in an old part of town, the roads are narrow, and there is a 90 degree bend to get around, most cars are fine, but if you are in a minibus sized vehicle, there is alternative parking close by.
Just a few doors away there is a play park, so if you have young ones, its an easy way for them to let off steam before dinner. There is a local shop and post office nearby, and a pub mainly popular for its showing of sport TV. Bethesda High St is a 5 minute drive away, with more variety of shops, cafes and pubs. If you are prepared to go a bit further, there are many great places to eat.
Bethesda is a great base to explore the area. You are at the foot of the Ogwen Valley which takes you right into the heart of the mountainous Snowdonia National Park. Yet you are only half an hours drive to Anglesey and some beautiful beaches.
In Bethesda itself is the worldwide renowned Zipworld Velocity, the fastest zip line in the world. Also the Lon Las Ogwen cycle path which takes you up into the mountains or down to the university city of Bangor, passing close by the impressive National Trust, Penrhyn castle, which is well worth a visit.
Bangor has many of the main supermarkets and High Street stores and a wealth of restaurants and pubs, plus the recently opened Pontio Arts Centre.
There are lots of attractions nearby and there will be information leaflets in the house to help you choose.
- "The cottage has been wonderful, very carefully refurbished, beautifully decorated and very clean. All the communication was easy and timely. There were chocolates, wine and milk, as well as teas, coffee and cooking essentials (olive oil, spices, salt and sugar etc). Eco-friendly and sustainable solutions in terms of the toiletries and housekeeping products provided. The location is great, WiFi very good and parking convenient. 5 starts accomodation, we will be sure to return."

- "We enjoyed our stay a lot. The place was well equipped with everything you need and had enough space for a comfortable stay. We loved that this home tells a story. It is located close to the center of Menai Bridge so we could reach the Suspension Bridge, supermarket, and the Coastal Path within a few minute walk. Great base for exploring Anglesey and/or Snowdonia. If you are a birdwatcher you definitely should visit Church Island at dusk. You will not only find everything beautifully enlighted, but also hundreds of birds preparing for staying there at night (seagulls, geese, oystercatchers, herons, corvid birds, redshanks and others)."

The space
Welcome to my home. I live in a 3 story terraced house in beautiful Bethesda, with access at cellar level at the back and ground floor at the front.
There is a large open-plan living space with comfy sofas and a big dining table to share meals at.
The bedrooms are on the first and second floors, Bathroom on the first floor and another WC on the cellar level near the back door.
Accessibility:
The stairs to the first floor are wide with a hand-rail.
Cellar stairs are of normal width with handrail.
Guest access
I'm pleased to share the living room, balcony and garden as shared spaces for all to enjoy.
Guests also have access to reasonable use of the kitchen - this means respecting what not to use, treating things with care, being flexible in negotiating times and durations of use and leaving the space and equipment clean and tidy.
I think it's important to mention that as this is my home guests will not have a default priority over the use of these shared spaces.
During your stay
I enjoy welcoming and interacting with guests, as well as inviting my friends and family over to spend time and share meals.
Depending on your needs and my schedule i could offer anything from suggestions of places to visit to going bouldering or walking together for days!
I also need my own space at times, which may mean more limited interaction.
Other things to note
Pets:
I'm a very animal friendly person and I get along well with dogs and cats (and most other more-than-hunan creatures!), so I am happy to have well behaved and quiet pets along with guests so long as they are kept out of the kitchen and do not make mealtimes a challenge. I have added a fee for the additional cleaning required to prevent allergy reactions in other guests.
If you have any questions please get in touch.
