Dinner can be taken in the dining room with space for 4 to sit, having made full use of the subtle kitchen which had all the required equipment with plenty of storage for your stay.

Park on the stone drive that has space for up to 3 cars. Local public transport can get you to pretty much wherever you want by bus. Less than 5 minutes away from the Train Station and with easy access to the A483 (to Chester or Oswestry) there will be plenty for you to see.

- "Can’t say enough about Jeremy’s place. So many international travellers are making a wrexham home game part of their travels in the UK. Well this is the place to stay if this is part of your plans. The property is literally across the street from the stadium. This was great when the Welsh weather soaked us at the end of the match. (The international ticket end has no roof) We knew we only had a very short walk to get warm and dry. We didn’t explore too far from the property but there was a good restaurant and grocery store within easy walking distance as well. And what a great property it is. It has been entirely renovated. While small by North American standards, it has everything you would need. The kitchen has all the amenities including a washer and dryer (fyi UK dryers have a water reservoir that needs to be emptied for the dryer to work properly). The bed was comfortable. Our adult son slept on the sofa bed and said it was great. Jeremy is a very attentive host; offering us suggestions of activities and showing us around the property. You have the whole property to yourself. There is one room that is off limits as there are cats in there but we didn’t see or hear them. Again, a wonderful place. We will hopefully be back to see wrexham in league one."

North Wales holds a range of places to visit including the 500ft high zip wire at Zipworld, the world acclaimed Chester Zoo, a day watching racing at Chester or Bangor-On-Dee or a historic visit to Erddig Hall.

A 1930s warm family home with a spacious double bedroom. My partner and I live here with our son and cats. We are half a mile from Wrexham general train station and 2 minutes from Wrexham Football club (the racecourse stadium). We are only 10 minutes from the historic Chester city centre and under an hour to Liverpool and Manchester. There is a retail park less than half a mile away with all the essentials. Wrexham Maelor hospital is 2 mins away.

We are Katherine (BSc, MSc) from Wrecsam, and partner Brian (BSc) from Catalunya.

We sometimes offer a spare room in our home, to provide a welcoming, safe, friendly, space to stay for those from a range of cultures, identities, backgrounds. This assists us too as all income from this goes towards bills for this home.

As we are opening up our loved home to you, we do have some key shared agreements to consider, which is why you really need to read the full listing before booking.

The space
This is a home in a friendly neighbourhood close on the outskirts of the centre.

We have a 3 nights minimum, just because we only charge Airbnb £40 a night -and once bills and cleaning is paid for - it's when it is 3 nights that it becomes more worth it for us. We could negotiate and add cleaning fees as extra instead if less nights are needed.

The shared agreements mentioned are mostly due to allergies, ethics, cleanliness and having a home clinic.

Within these, you are so welcome to make yourself and home.

The main one for you to ask yourself, is will I be able to bring only bring plant-based foods and drinks into the home? For most people it is easy, it is easy to find options these days, just look for the 'vegan' labels, still please only ask to book if you are ok with the.

Whatever people eat outside the home is up to them, it's just lovely to have a haven of non-contamination in our own home.

Our price reflects that ability to eat out!

And the other is only non-smokers, non-vapers please, we had people that smoked outside, but that didn't work out well for allergies, so think it's best to keep to that.

Then there are little things like shoes off in the house, everyone, incl men sitting to use the toilet, cleaning up hairs after yourself in the bathroom. Helps keep the space clean.

Things like this mean we will keep on hosting for longer :)

We have loved hosting a united diversity of people here over the years: LGBTQIA+, all genders, gender free, all ethnic backgrounds, naturists, those with neurodiversities and neurotypical, and those with disabliities (access permitting). Basically anyone that respects our united diversities, are all very welcome here.

Bedrooms:
There are two bedrooms (ours and yours) and a box room with a little mini blanket sound booth I use for sharing and sound recording meditations.

Living Room:
The living room converts to a physiotherapy and health massage, meditation and therapy clinic in the daytime.
This can limit access to the kitchen and living room at some times.
We do give you the times its is not accessible, before 10am and after 8pm is usually free for example, and then many other times in the week too as we do work away too.

This does all mean that you can have physiotherapy, health massage or awenydd innerwork treatments just downstairs of your room if you like, which would be an ideal for me!

We do tend to get booked up a week or so in advance so it's worth letting us know in advance if you would like this.

The living room is available to use outside home clinic hours, there are some books you can read there too. We are TV free so please do bring your own laptop if you would like to watch anything.

Shared kitchen:
The shared kitchen is fully equipped including a blender and is available to use outside clinic hours for free if you are happy to only bring in plant-based food (lots of things are labelled vegan these days) and drink.

It is important that meat eaters, pescatarians, vegetarians, and vegans alike who are all welcome, who would like to stay are willing to just have plant-based food and drink in the home due to allergies as well as ethics. There are some great films on the ethics I hear, like Forks over Knives, Game Changers and similar if interested in these.

Most people eat out anyway as they are on holiday, and there are lots of ready meals labelled as vegan in shops nearby. You can ask us for advice too. With advance notice, we can ask buy you some 'Lazy Vegans', a frozen ready meal that seems to go down really well!

Free herbal teas in the kitchen, or herbs for infusion teas in the garden

Garden:
There is also a (very) small permaculture front and back garden.

Utility Room:
You are welcome to use our washing machine too, with our eco laundry liquid provided, please ask for assistance with this.

Bathroom:
Faith in Nature shampoo conditioner, shower gel in shared refillable bottles are provided for free in the bathroom for guests. If you prefer to use your own, please bring sfv eco-products for the shower or bath, keeps everything allergy free, and is healthier for our waterways.

As this is us opening up our much loved home to you, we only accept guests with references. Occasionally we make exceptions - you can always ask.

Pets:
Pets do have to stay elsewhere, this is a pet free home.

Disability:
We do welcome those with disabilities, Katherine has FND herself. We do wish this place was wheelchair accessible but it is a 1970s home and it is not wheelchair accessible. It is a small home though and there is only one small flight of stairs to the bedroom.

During your stay
We are so flexible with interaction.

People who stay here tend to be family to us - whether it is family that we hardly see and speak to while here, or family that we chat with a lot.

We live here, so while we work a lot and may be too busy to spend much time with you, and may even be working away during your stay, we are also around a good bit.

When here, we can be handy for solo travellers, or those new to the area to have someone to touch base for when we are around! Also handy for someone working a lot knowing you can just work and just come back to rest, knowing that they don't have to interact, they can just keep themselves to themselves. We are flexible in how much we interact as find both ways, and all in-between are lovely.

If we are around, we are happy to offer assistance, please do ask. Better to ask and for us to assist while you are here.

We can give you lots of pointers of things to do, please do ask. We update the Airbnb Guidebook regularly and also have a little printed guide in your room.

As stated in previous sections, there are some shared agreements that are required.
