It's three stories with an old wooden spiral staircase leading you down through the house. If you have problems with steps or are disabled this may not be the house for you, but could make it work by staying on the top level which has a bedroom and bathroom if you have someone who can navigate the stair to the kitchen and laundry downstairs. The house is built into the bridge and you can exit the lower level, kitchen, to the outside by the river Avon. It's walking distance to restaurants, delis, a small grocery store, and even take away food. We walked to and ate at King Williams a block away and loved it! We are sad that didn't book the house for a couple more days and spend more time in Bath! You won't be disappointed with this old world charm house!"

They also have all the amenities listed(fridge/freezer, dishwasher, cooker, washing machine), the kitchen is well equipped with utensils and there are a selection of dvds for the dvd player (we actually brought our own chromecast to watch netflix at night). There is a small grill outside and they provide barbeque packs for a small fee. There is also a table and chairs with a parasol on the patio there are scenic views of a private garden and bird feeders attract beautiful species of birds. The cottage was very cosy add comfy and we'd love to say here again."

A comfortable room available, in a house just a short drive from Bath.

The house is occupied by myself and my little kitten. You will have access to your double room, with wardrobe and drawers, the shared bathroom, with shower over bath, and the kitchen.

The house is my project, and therefore not all of the rooms are beautifully finished... but I promise you warmth and comfort. My cat also promises you lots of attention if you welcome it.

The space
A mid-terrace later 1800's miners cottage with a divorced garden a short drive from Bath. the house is a project of love for me, so some rooms have been updated (your room and the bathroom) and others are either waiting to be finished, or still sporting the magnolia paint from the previous owner.

You are free to use all of the downstairs, which includes the lounge, dining area, kitchen and bathroom. I also use this space, but please don't let that prevent you from making yourselves comfortable. Pav (the kitten) also owns this area, so he will likely join you.

During your stay
I will either be at home (evenings and weekends), or at work during the week. I will provide you with my phone number so that you can contact me if you need to.

Other things to note
Due to the age of the property, the bathroom is located on the ground floor, whereas the bedroom is upstairs. so please bear that in mind for access. I have installed motion sensor lights on the stairs if you do need to get up over night.

As I mentioned, this house is my passion project, and not all of the house has been finished - which is echoed in the price of the room. However the guest room, and bathroom are completely finished.

The house is a 20minute drive from Bath, and a 25minute drive from the outskirts of Bristol. There are regular buses to both locations at excellent prices.

Walk to Bath City centre along the canal or the edge of the city, with fabulous views. Easy bus, affordable taxi. Nice room in eco friendly house with plenty of parking outside. Great eating places locally eg: vegan restaurant, fish and chips, deli, cafe pubs. People from all backgrounds, persuasions, and abilities very welcome. If you're good people that's all I need! Flexibility with beds - single, double, potential for twin. Children and pets may be possible by arrangement.

I'm very environmentally friendly and I speak rusty Italian and a few crumbs of French.
The very comfy Ikea day bed pulls out into a large double. I have a quality fold up bed with a really good mattress that I may be able to use if you want twin beds.
You'd have the room to yourself with ensuite shower room and toilet. There is a sink in the bedroom and a hanging space and some drawers. I provide plates, bowls, cutlery, cups, glasses and a kettle. I'm very happy for you to bring in takeaways and there's loads of choice in the village for lunches and breakfasts.
There's a handy table and chairs for eating or working. (different table now to what's in the photo, sorry.) There are lovely walks all around.
Mobility: There are about 5 steps up to the front door and steps up to the bedroom on the first floor, but with good secure handrails.

Bright double room in Frome, with easy access to all the town's amenities, and gorgeous countryside nearby. The flat is full of colour and charm, and makes a perfect base for a stay in one of the most lively towns in the South West.

Frome is one of the best places to live in the UK!
This is a Victorian terrace, a 15 minute walk into the town (with restaurants, cafes, bars, galleries, theatres, cinema etc) yet on the edge of the pretty Somerset countryside.

NB the bedroom is on the first floor and bathroom for guests' use is on the ground floor - accessed through the sitting room and kitchen

Beds can be arranged as twin or double and single bed for single occupancy.

Im a female living alone in a 2 bedroom house. There is free parking on the street available. I work as a cleaner and im out most of the day.
Check in is between 3 pm and 9 pm and check out 11am.

Nice and cosy. There will be a key safe on the outside wall by the right hand side of the door, so you can let yourself in at anytime.
You can use microwave, tools for tea and cofee and heat the food, but Im happy if you don't cook please.

At the moment the water pressure from the shower (hot water on a whole) is lower than normal...waiting for plumber to come. You can still have shower without problems.
