The kitchen is equipped with a full oven, hob, microwave, washing machine and Tassimo coffee machine with complimentary pods. There are ample utensils for home cooking. The Neighborhood:
This delightful apartment is located moments away from Clevedon Bay and you can walk to all the local amenities. A short five-minute walk brings you to Hill Road and Alexandra Road. both are bursting with independent shops, bars and restaurants. On the first Sunday of every month from March to December you will also find a craft market brimming with local finds.

This pretty seaside town is a delight in North Somerset and is best known for its Victorian Pier, often featuring in Films, TV shows and One Direction’s ‘You and I’ video! Whilst Hill Road was a major feature in Broadchurch. At the other end of the bay, you will find Marine Lake where there is in-season paddle board hire, plus ample opportunities to join the brave cold water swimmers for an early morning or evening dip. Spanning the beach from the pier to the lake, you'll also find a
handful of cafes, and pubs where you can soak up the legendary sunsets with a pint of ale in hand.

And if you fancy stretching your legs, set off on the beautiful Poet’s Walk where you’ll see spectacular views over to Wales on a clear day, or north along Lover’s Walk to Ladye Bay and on 6 1/2 miles on the coastal path to Portishead Marina.

Getting Around:
Thanks to its central location, it's easy to enjoy all of Clevedon's local delights on foot. There is a free parking space allocated to the flat behind the building.

Other Things to Note:
Please note, access to the shower is quite narrow (15 inches, 38cm) due to the fixed return on the shower screen.

The sofa bed has an additional charge of £10 if only two guests are staying (this is just to cover laundry costs). If there are 3 or more guests, there is no additional charge. Please let us know in advance of your stay if you need to use the sofa bed.

With the woods of North Somerset on one side, and Wales across the Bristol Channel on the other, our Grade II listed hilltop castle enjoys 360-degree-views of some of the most beautiful landscape in Britain.

The main part of the accommodation is housed across four levels in an octagonal keep, which sits in the centre of a beautifully maintained lawn and cobblestone courtyard.

On arriving through the main entrance hallway, steps take you up to the impressively large kitchen with beautiful circular granite dining table. There is a spiral staircase down to the lower ground floor where there are two double bedrooms which share a 'Jack and Jill' style en suite bathroom. On the first floor there is a grand sitting room with large stone fireplace and a 50” plasma TV. There is also a library and reading room through an archway. On the second floor, there is a magnificent master bedroom with en suite bathroom boasting a roll-top bath as well as a private terrace which is the perfect place from which to enjoy a drink while admiring the gorgeous views.

Surrounding the keep are eight turrets, each located 30 yards across the courtyard from the main building.

Superbly presented communal turrets include the 'entertainment turret', ideal for enjoying an aperitif over a game of pool, and the two largest turrets, equipped for larger parties, dining and dancing. We can recommend fabulous local caterers who can prepare and serve a feast with fresh local ingredients.

Five turrets are self-contained double bedroom suites, with soft furnishings and en suite showers. So you can enjoy the luxury of having space to be together or spaces to be apart.

Other social spots include the sunken patio with a stunning wooden hot tub , the indoor heated swimming pool and second patio area, perfect for barbecues. This is the largest turret and can seat up to 60 people on 6 tables of 10. Perfect for banquets but also excellent as a cinema room, disco, yoga, conferences & events room. It has a surround sound system (bluetooth enabled) as well as lighting and mirror ball. The room also has special air conditioning system to heat, cool and dehumidify. A great blank canvas space for larger occasions.
Turret 2 –Utility Turret
This turret contains a utility room with washing machine, dryer and wc.
Turret 3 – Pine Bedroom
This turret bedroom is one of the largest with a king size bed, sofa, soft furnishings and exposed stonework. It has an en suite shower room.
Turret 4 - Queen Ann Bedroom
The Queen Ann Turret has a king size bed, sofa, furniture, wardrobe and an en suite shower room. Beautifully decorated with chandelier lighting.
Turret 5 – Mahogany Bedroom
This is one of the larger turrets with a king size bed, soft furnishings, exposed stonework and plenty of seating. It has an en suite shower room.
Turret 6: Entertainment two-level apartment
This is the largest turret at the castle, as it extends under the castle walls either side of the turret. It has a double bedroom, a sofa and table football. A quiet loft room in a Victorian mid terrace house with a private en-suite shower room. Our guests always comment on the extremely comfy mattress and down feather bedding.

This is an ideal base for exploring the town and countryside or attending events in town. Shops, cafes, restaurants, sea front, pier and marine lake are within walking distance.

We have high speed WiFi, and a separate workspace for those who need a place to work or study.

Only 5 minutes from the M5 junction 20.

The space
Our house is a Victorian mid-terrace, your room and en suite being at the top of the house, up two flights of stairs. Though we are close to the centre of town, the room looks out onto the back garden and is therefore away from the road noise.

Guest access
Guests will have access to their bedroom and en suite shower room. There is also a separate room with desk space for work or study - please let us know if you would like to use this space.

There are tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom, as well as a wardrobe and shelves for clothes storage.

Covered bike storage at the back of the house is available for cyclists.

The kitchen, dining room and sitting room are unfortunately not available for guest use.

During your stay
Marcus will be around the house most days as he works from home. We are generally very contactable if you have any requests or issues, however we will endeavour to leave you to your own space, so it will not feel like you are sharing a house at all.

We will aim to meet you when you first arrive and show you around, but if we are not at home we will give you all the info you need to self check-in.

Other things to note
We have a very friendly cat called Freya, who very much likes people, but will not bother you if you don't want her to. We cannot guarantee that she won't come into your room if you leave your door open, though she will not mind being picked up and gently removed! We kindly ask guests not to feed Freya, and ensure that any windows are closed if she does come into your room.

This is a quirky semi in a sunny spot, overlooking a little river in East Clevedon, but only a very short flat walk to shops, pubs, eateries, the famous Curzon cinema and a 25 minute walk to the seafront, so perfect for a short break with driveway parking.

The seawater Marine Lake provides safe swimming, walking along the 'prom' to the Grade 1 listed Pier or just sitting on the little pebbly beaches is a joy as is Poet's Walk on the headland with the causeway beyond.

The space
The guest bedroom has a comfortable 5' bed, with a small Freeview TV. Dressing gowns and a hairdryer are provided. Directly opposite is another bedroom which is free to use as a dressing room with some hanging space. A further bedroom contains a sofa and small writing table with another small TV for guest use also.
The bathroom is only for your use and has a shower over the bath, with towels and toiletries provided.
There will be kitchen access to make tea/coffee and a basic breakfast of cereal/toast/fruit and yoghurt will be available for you to help yourselves.
The patio is very sunny, with table, chairs and a sunshade to use whenever the opportunity arises!
There is a secure rear courtyard where bikes can be left, but not undercover.

During your stay
This is very much a 'lived in' house with all the rooms used. I hope to be around during all of your stay and you will feel relaxed and 'at home' as well as having your own space to enjoy, but respect my space and privacy too.

Our modern Passiv house is situated in the most highly sought after part of Clevedon with your comfortable and well-appointed suite having its own level entrance from the front of the house where you can park in your own space, on our drive. The triple glazing and underfloor heating with an independent thermostat, combined with excellent insulation ensures you can be warm and cosy when the weather is bad but still take advantage of the wonderful view. We selected our property to take advantage of the proven cognitive and stress-relieving benefits of having such a view….so relax and enjoy during your stay.

A memory foam, pillow top mattress on a king size bed made up with high quality linens ensures a good nights sleep. In the bathroom, a comfort height WC, a level entrance to the shower, along with fluffy towels ensures your comfort during your stay.

We provide tea and coffee to make your own hot drinks plus a nespresso coffee machine and pods. In the small fridge, where you can chill those drinks for a sundowner on the terrace, you will find chilled water, soft drinks and milk for hot drinks. We will leave you a selection of breakfast items, including a variety of cereals and pastries so you can enjoy a continental breakfast without having to shop.
There is also a microwave should you wish to heat a ready meal and sufficient cutlery and crockery for consuming it but please note we don’t offer a hob or oven.

An extendable table is suitable for use as a desk should you be working or to use for dining. If you just want to chill out then a recliner sofa makes for comfortable viewing of the large ‘smart’ wall-mounted television.

Outside on your own south-facing, sun filled terrace, you will be able to sit under the parasol and enjoy breakfast or a drink with a wonderful panorama before you, should the weather be suitable. Our south facing windows are treated with solar control to stop overheating but also give the benefit of privacy during daylight hours due to the mirror finish.

We can offer secure cycle storage to complement our position in Clevedon which is on the Avon Way cycle route and an EV CHARGER (at cost only rate) for your vehicle.

The steps up to the house are steep but the views from the house are breath-taking, with Wales and Devon visible on a clear day.
We have a very friendly dog - Pepper. She loves to meet and greet new people!

We are just 25 minutes from Bristol and 20 minutes from the fun and sandy beaches of Weston-Super-Mare, Brean Sands and Burnham-on-Sea.

If you would like to bring an infant, please get in touch as we can provide a travel cot and high chair, if needed.

Please be aware that Little Fern is located in the lush garden of a wonderful Victorian property. We have renovated the access to make it as easy as possible (to roll a suitcase down it, if needed!), with plenty of lighting for night-time.

Because of its age - and the nature of the land here - there are a few steps as you enter from the lane - and a few more steps leading down the deck and studio. The raised deck is connected to the garden by steps at both ends of the decking area. The deck can become slippery when wet, so please take care.

Clevedon Beach is well known for having the World's largest seawater infinity pool, which is within 1 mile walk (20 minute stroll) from our home and is free to access.

On the seafront there is a Grade 1 listed Victorian Pier that has a fabulous fish & chips restaurant. You might be lucky to catch a glimpse of the Waverly Paddle Steamer going by or even a porpoise or two!

Also at the seafront there is a crazy golf course, free tennis courts and various cafe, pubs and restaurants.

In the town centre, within 5 mins walk, you will find The Curzon Cinema, which is one of the oldest, continually running, purpose built cinemas in the world. It retains many original Victorian features and has a beautiful balcony with comfortable sofas for a unique movie experience.

Hill Road has a well earned reputation as one of the finest shopping and dining destinations in the South West and is only a 10 mins walk from our space. Here you will find fashion, art, interior decorations, award-winning places to eat out and a whole array of gift ideas.

The town has a small M&S Food and Sainsbury's, plus medium sized Tesco, Asda, Aldi and Lidl. There is a One-Stop Grocery Store within 2 mins walk from our home.

Clevedon has several parks with children's play areas. The largest are at the seafront and Cricket Club.

There is a Leisure Centre (Strode Road) with a heated indoor swimming pool and baby pool.

Clevedon has two golf courses, tennis clubs and is part of the "Pier to Pier Way" cycle route (13 mile from Clevedon Pier to Weston Pier).

Clevedon Craft Centre is on the outskirts of the town, offering small shops, run by a diverse range of artists and crafts people.

As you enter the town, from the direction of Bristol, you will find a National Trust property, Clevedon Court, a medieval manor house with an 18th Centuary terraced garden and wide views of the Mendip Hills.

7 miles from Clevedon is Tyntesfield National Trust property, an ornate Victorian Gothic Revival House with extensive gardens and parklands.

Our recently refurbished family home has lots of character with its stain glass windows and original Victorian features coupled with modern bathrooms and kitchen. Our house is available when we are away and will be left clean and tidy but is not a hotel or rental property. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do!

Split over 4 floors our home offers flexible sleeping arrangements.

On the first floor the main bedroom has a super king bed and en-suite with rain shower, bath tub, sink and toilet.

The second bedroom has a single bed, but a cot or double blow up bed can be set up if needed. The en-suite bathroom comprises of a rain shower, sink and toilet.

On the second floor the third bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite bathroom with rain shower, sink and toilet.

The final bedroom has a semi permanent blow up king size bed and en-suite with rain shower, bathtub, sink and toilet. There are two dedicated work spaces set up in this room.

The ground floor comprises the lounge, kitchen / diner and a play room. The lounge is a calming space with projector tv to enjoy your favourite shows from the comfy sofas. The kitchen is fully equipped with two built in ovens, induction hot, Smeg fridge freezer, boiling water tap, coffee machine, microwave and all kitchen essentials. The dining area has a seating alcove for 6-8 people with views into the garden. Access to the garden is down a few steps where you can enjoy eating outdoors on the patio and garden furniture. There is a single swing and slide for the little ones to enjoy too.

The utility room is in the basement with a washer drier and clothes rack.
