- "We had a lovely few days in Painswick at the Cotswold lodge. The lodge is spacious, modern, full functional with everything you need for a holiday. The location is perfect for the Cotswolds as a base and painswick is a lovely quiet village with pubs and a small store. We would recommend this location but it is very hilly so you either have to be able to walk or drive a car. Rococo gardens is really interesting." - "Great communication from the outset and prompt responses if needed answers to my questions. Cottage itself is very homely and decorated thoughtfully, with some lovely touches such as milk, juice, fruit and cookies on arrival. Clean, tidy and a nice cottage feel. Has all the amenities you would expect to find. Great collection of guides books and literature in the cottage offering suggestions on the local area, which I found helpful. Location wise, Painswick itself has a couple of nice places to eat if you didn't wish to drive. we were touring multiple villages in the Cotswolds for 3 nights so you would need a car to ensure you don't miss the best towns and villages. Will recommend to others. "

- "Beautiful cottage in an idyllic village which ended up surpassing our expectations coming from abroad for the first time. The cottage was beautifully remodelled, was well appointed and was the perfect jump off point to all of the area sights from Bath to Chipping Campden. 3 cafes within 3mins walk and just as many restaurants. Parking in the town can be tricky but we never had a problem securing a spot in the public parking lot close by. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves!"
