Behind The Bothy, through a slightly overgrown part of the garden that we haven't quite started to tend yet, is a working farm. If you're here at harvest time you may hear some noise from the harvesters but it's always short lived and adds to the country feel. Of course if you're here during lambing season, you will hear the newborn lambs saying hello to the world, An incredible time of year to visit!

During the end of summer the garden is full of apple, plum, pear, damson and figs which you're welcome to pick. And of course the flowers are in full bloom and the garden looks lovely. It's not perfect, definitely a work in progress, but lovely nontheless. Autumn and winter leave the garden looking slightly more sparse as you'd expect but with that the walks from here that time of year are stunning with the sun low in the sky and the colours the ever changing landscape offers.

Beyond the farm, and at the end of the garden are sweeping fields with public footpaths that take you to stunning views. Just ask for guidance and we have maps ready.

The garden, although advertised as shared with the adjacent larger house, is large enough for everyone to have privacy whilst enjoying the outdoor space. The surroundings are quiet and there are nice walks around the property and the village (Inkberrow), our 16y/o dog and us have enjoyed the daily evening walk after dinner. The owners (and their family) are great hosts, it's been a pleasure having a few conversations with them during our time here.Inside, the flat is perfectly furnished with everything that is needed for a long stay: kitchen utensils, glassware, etc. The space is very well organised and even if it looks small on the photos, it felt just perfect for the 2 of us and our pets. Overall, a fantastic find for us. If we were ever in the area again, we would definitely stay again. "

Ivy stables is all on one level. It has a comfortable living area with dining room table. The kitchen is well equipped. In the bedroom you will find a very comfortable king size bed. The bathroom has a sink, toilet and bath with shower fitted over.

The property has exposed beams and has historical charm.

We supply 1 basket of logs for the fire pit if you wish to use the fire pit more than the one basket allows please provide your own logs.

There is a small BBQ for you to use. Please provide your own coal and remember to clean the grill after.

- "Prior to arrival, I had asked for details of the location and the key safe as it was unclear on Google Street View and even less clear when we arrived. The response from “Charlie” was not to worry but a map link would be sent. As the link to Google Street View had previously been sent with the arrival information, this wasn’t what I needed and incidentally, a map link wasn’t sent anyway. Ironically, when we eventually got into the flat, the QR code link inside the flat provided the information and a photo of the key safe location. For other guests, you might wish to make this clear with the arrival instructions.The Flat is in a good location and the car park across the pedestrian bridge was convenient. The accommodation was satisfactory but some improvements to the maintenance need to be made and a rethink of the cramped kitchen might be beneficial, particularly whilst work is ongoing to the flat below. Also, provision for hanging towels and a larger basin would be helpful in the shower room. The biggest problem with this Flat is the adjacent pub (The Pheasant), which has loud music until after midnight and Karaoke on Saturday. With loudspeakers on the outside decking of the pub adjacent to 26c New Street, guests must be prepared for sleepless nights.The booking process through VRBO was easy and the responses we had were quick but just lacked some thought.Overall, disappointed by the accommodation but not by all that Worcester has to offer."

Exterior:
The house is part 15th century original and part a 19th century rebuild of the original following a catastrophic fire. Its timber frame, large leaded windows, panelled rooms and grand fireplaces provide a historic background whilst modern updates offer contemporary home comforts.

A large private walled garden, opening onto parkland, offers outdoor patio dining with BBQ.

The house, with its impressive front door, is down a 1/2 mile drive with the entrance through a gated courtyard overlooking the old boathouse on the River Severn. It is approximately 10 minutes drive from junction 1 of the M50.
The quirky local Three Kings Inn is situated in the village at the top of the drive and is famous for its Ales.
Upton-Upon-Severn is a 30 minute walk, or 5 minute drive and provides free short stay parking. There are two small supermarkets in the town and several pubs/restaurants/take-aways.
Malvern is a 10 minute drive and offers larger supermarkets/shops. From here you can access the stunning Malvern Hills.
The property is attached to two further properties on either side, one of which is occupied by the owners but it is entirely separate and with its own garden.

Situated in a small village in South Worcestershire, 5 miles from Malvern, 20 minutes drive to Worcester and 25 minutes to Cheltenham. The Malvern Hills and British Camp are on the doorstep as is the River Severn with boat hire and riverside pubs. The local fruit farm offers pick-your-own and other local produce. Herefordshire, the Cotswolds and Wales are all in easy striking distance.

A car is essential. Parking is very good locally. Junction 1 of the M50 is a 10 minute drive. Junction 7 (Worcester South) of the M5 is 20 minutes away.

Guests may encounter friendly dogs, cats, a pony and sheep.

It is a lovely place if you desire to be out in the country, but still have easy access to restaurants and shops within a 5 minute drive. On the positive side, it is a magnificent building and garden space,was very clean, and had comfortable beds, along with a portacrib for an infant. Nicely equipped kitchen with washer/dryer. The only negatives were a heating system which was preset and difficult to manage for heat at night, and a resident cat which took every opportunity to get into the house. Views of the Malvern Hills at the front and the cathedral and flood plains at the rear.

You can book an holistic, massage or beauty treatment onsite during your stay.

Complimentary study / workspace available for you to use in my upstairs or downstairs work room when I am not using it.

I can accommodate up to 7 adults with sole use of the second floor of the property. This is the butterfly room double bed, dragonfly room double bed, family room kingsize bed and double sofa bed futon.

I also have a ground floor single bed bedroom “the garden room” which is next to a separate guest toilet and sink.

The bathroom (bath, shower, sink, sauna) and separate toilet are for guest use as we have en-suite bedrooms.

I have two children so there will be the usual sound of children playing on the ground floor during your stay.
