- "We had the self catering annex which opens onto the beautiful enclosed garden which we and our dog were able to use. Gigi the owner has thought of everything you could need. Large, welcoming three bedroom, two bathroom house with garden and patio. One queen bedroom, two double bedrooms one with en-suite bathroom and another shared bathroom (shared between guests, not owner) with Japanese bath tub.

Enjoy beautiful country walks on the doorstep and the many miles of footpaths and bridleways that weave through the hedgerows and fields of the Worcestershire countryside. Begin your ramble immediately after leaving the house.

If historic pubs are your thing, only a 5 minute walk away is the charming The Old Bull pub - a 16th century timber pub between the village green and the parish church reputed to have served William Shakespeare himself.....

Ample parking, for at least 4 cars, on property.

I live here and will be your host during your stay. There is a minimum stay of 2 days.


I have three double rooms and charge 80 pounds (40 pounds pp) but 60 pounds for single occupancy.

Welcome to Wild Thyme! We are situated in quiet Bevere, with it's beautiful scenery and walks along the River Severn, the cosy Bevere Cafe just across the field and several pubs very close to hand.
We are only 20 minutes from the Malvern Hills for those who want to really stretch their legs!
The city centre is just 1.5miles away with bus routes and train stations close by.

The space
Wild Thyme is located in the quiet village of Bevere and is in easy reach of all amenities. Our home is a dormer bungalow with an annexe separated off for use by our guests. There is parking for one car on our private drive.

You will have your own shower room off the main hallway, complete with towels and toiletries, a double living space comprising of a well equipped kitchenette including kettle, coffee maker, microwave, toaster and fridge freezer.


A ironing board and iron are provided, a workstation and TV (Netflix and Youtube only) with free WiFi, and a comfy double sofa. Moving through an archway into the bedroom is a double bed with high quality mattress, an open wardrobe including hangers and shelves, a double mirror and bedside cabinets with lamps. A hair dryer is also available and dressing gowns are provided on request.

A welcome tray is provided on arrival including bread, butter, jams, cereals, milk some coffee pods and biscuits. Tea and instant coffee are stored in the tubs on the countertop at all times.

Information is also provided so our guests can see what is going on in and around Worcester!

Guest access
On arrival you will be given a code to access the key safe for entrance keys, and a code for the key pad into the living space also.

The annexe is pretty much contained from the main house although there is a study and therapy room that is sometimes used.
The shower room is off the main hallway but curtained french doors separate the guest area from our living area for your privacy.

During your stay
Parking for one car on a private drive, own shower room a shared hallway, living space containing double bed, workspace, sofa, TV, ironing board/iron and well equipped kitchenette including.

We are easy to find....half way down Green Lane on the left, clearly marked with the house number on the front garden.

Other things to note
Please note that we own two dogs that whilst they have no access to the guest area, do run around the back garden freely....and do sometimes bark!

Although not advertising as a pet friendly stay, we welcome service dogs and happy to discuss availability for guests with small dogs at an extra fee.

Church House was built in 1760 and is a Grade II Listed building. The guest room is situated on the second floor offering very comfortable country house accommodation.

Guests are welcome to explore and enjoy the surrounding gardens and terrace, at their best in the summer months, as well as there being an extensive range of good local pubs and restaurants to choose from, with the renowned Mug House, just a two minute walk away, and central Worcester only two miles away.

Other things to note
The extensive breakfast menu includes fresh farm eggs and sausages from our own pigs, and a range of home-made jams. Breakfast is served between 7.30am and 9.30am to suit you.

🍃 Beautiful and cosy studio guesthouse situated in the heart of Shrawley close to Curradine Barns and a stones throw away from the stunning Shrawley woods. 5 minutes walk to the nearest pub.

The Nook is 15 minutes drive away from the cathedral city of Worcester (approximately £20 by taxi) and 10 minutes from Stourport on Severn and stunning Bewdley.

🦮 Dogs welcome, we just ask that you keep them off of the bed and never leave them unattended.

💍 We are nearby to Curradine Barns if you are attending a wedding however, the walk back is over rural roads and there are no paths or streetlights and so I’d recommend arranging a lift to us. If we are in and able to, we can offer to drop off/pick up. Taxis from Worcester can be arranged but do this in advance and get a price.

We have an external Ring camera on the driveway which points away from the entrance to The Nook.
