The location was awesome - we walked everywhere...Edinburgh Castle, Holyroodhouse, Royal Mile for shopping and great restaurants within blocks. We even stumbled upon a movie set on our walk to the Royal Botanic Gardens. The Dicksons were wonderful hosts, providing brochures, information, restaurant suggestions and conversation! The fridge was stocked with eggs, bread, milk, butter to get us going our first morning, and we were welcomed with a big, beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers upon arrival. My only disappointment is that the apartment was not available for one more night! You can't go wrong with this rental!"
