- "The property was really good. Clean, tidy and well presented. My only issue was that the radiators were not as warm despite being on the highest setting. The bedroom especially was very cold. Another negative is upto now I have not received my deposit back. Surely you should have a system that works for returning deposits back. People are so busy spmetimes one will forget to check that the deposit has been returned back" - "I would say overall that the property is okay or average. For two adults, both of whom are between six feet tall and over, it felt a little cramped. The cleanliness is average due to the fact that some of dressers and tables were a little rickety or had stains on them when we came in. No bugs of any kind, however, which was great. There are plenty of pots and pans, kitchen utensils for cooking, however there was no cookie or baking sheet so you'd have to use tin foil or buy a cooking pan. There also was no dish strainer so we went out and bought one of those as well so we could adequately do our own cooking. It has nothing to do with the property per se, but it was interesting that if you stay there and order out, or call cabs, for some reason most delivery drivers and cab drivers had huge issues finding the property. No matter who we called over several weeks staying there, the taxi drivers and delivery drivers would wait on the main street or drop us off somewhere on the same block but never at the exact address. So not sure if the address is somehow blocked or why it's confusing to them. Overall, I would say it was average or okay. The area seems safe and fine. Plenty of business people walking home from work or taking the bus. There's an Aldi supermarket about a fifteen minute walk if you know what direction to go in and lots of smaller shops. Oxford is about a fifteen minute taxi drive as well. "

The Headington Shops are only a block away, which allows for easy access to coffee, food, grocers, and much more. The city centre is a manageable 30 minute walk, or there are several bus stops very nearby. Great facilities. A laundry machine meant we didn’t have to pay money to get our clothes washed (use the ‘jeans’ setting for optimal dryness), and the kitchen—equipped with stove and microwave—meant we didn’t have to spend money to eat out every night. TV is equipped with a Netflix app and dozens of cable channels, so there is opportunity to relax and unwind at the end of a workday. The hospital right next door gave us peace of mind, just in case. And there is a decent backyard for the kids to play around."

Updated house rules, due to unforeseen circumstances from previous guests, we have a No cooking policy in place; but guest are premiered to heat up food in the oven or microwave and still able to use kettle, fridge, freezer and cupboard space as usual.
Also street parking is no longer free during daytime due new council rules.

Newly renovated, modern interior with fine quality materials. This guest bedroom is in a detached house in a quiet peaceful friendly professional house and secured neighbourhood. It's less 3 minutes' walk to public transport, 5/6 minutes' walk to local shops/cafe/restaurants, 5-15 minutes' drive/bus to the city centre depends on traffic, close to parks and art gallery. It is a professional house, ideal for business travellers, or tourists. Non-smoker only.

The space
Spacious, newly renovated, quiet, clean, tidy house in the most popular area Summertown in Oxford.

Located in a very quiet and secured neighbourhood, entrance door and each room have code locks. 2 small puppies live on the back of house for extra security. Currently we are updating the kitchen and painting the communal area, will be a discounted room rate for this working period. Noise will be controlled at the minimum between 9pm and 9am.

This guest room has a small double bed, wardrobe, and bedside table with a lamp. Please note there is no TV in this room, high speed wifi is provide in the whole house, guest will share the big walking shower room with other guests. Each guest room has its own code lock for security. All rooms have been newly painted and cleaned, with brand new remoter controlled black out blinds.

The room for booking up to one month at the moment, if you want longer period stay, please contact me in advance to check the availability. If it’s available, I could unlock some dates on airbnb for you. Promotion rate also available for longer term stay. Thanks.

To provide a competitive rate, and save energy due to highly increased energy cost, please keep the lights off if you are not in the room. The heating will be on between mid Oct and mid Mar, the heating and hot water are set up at 6:30am, 6:30pm, and 9pm, The temperature is set up between 18C and 19C. If it's getting cold, please let me know see what's the best I can help. Thank you for your understanding.

Self check in and check out are welcome. To save your cleaning service charge for a lower room rate, the cleaning service fee will only cover check in clean, bedding washing and check out bedding washing. Please clean the room and areas you have used in the communal areas and return everything you have used to its original condition/position at check out to avoid check out cleaning charge.

Self check-in/out is welcome. Guest can use guest dinning area, kitchen, guest walk in shower room. Brand new Bosch wash machine and Tumble dryer are also available for guest who stays one week and loner for included weekly one wash. Please use with consideration of energy saving mode within one hour circle. Please dry clothes on the drying rack in the utility room and put away drying rack back to its original fold position when you take dried clothes away. Extra washing will be £15 each. Please empty the pockets before put the laundry in the wash machine. Please keep the communal area clean as the original condition, clean and tidy up after you use the kitchen and put things you used back to their original place in the cabinets. Please put the bar stool back to its original position after you used it. Please keep the noise to the minimum. Thank you very much. LOL

I try my best to leave the guest peace and quietness, don't want to interrupt you while your stay. However please feel free to ask for help whenever needed. Anything urgent please feel free to call me.
